Not sure which one of our illiterate steering wheel holders put this post up to start with, and I could really care less. Your immature and run-on-sentence laden rhetoric has...and I assure you of this...fallen on deaf ears. All I can tell anyone who reads this post is this...it is from an ex-driver that wasn't worth a squirt of piss in the first place.

Well, All I can say is that the person that posts such b/s on places like this, is a person that obviously didn't do their job when they were here. That's why they have to resort to such kindergarten games. But I agree with Brian 100 percent. Myself, Brian and Ed do our jobs and do them quite well. We are more than fair with our dispatching but I digress, to all who read this, Jamestown Transportation is doing quite well and will be for years to come. I hope the poor soul who posted the original ad will find them a job that doesn't require putting sentences or words together for that matter.

if jamestown is doing so well then why are they downsizing in the number of trucks they have? why are they not buying new equipment like they use to do all the time? and as far as drugs go the dispatchers might not be dealing them but there drivers most definately do them, or i would assume they do seeing how they have had numerous drivers get caught on the road for posession of drugs

I personally loved my job at Jamestown Transportation, the pay could of been better but I couldn't complain they gave me my first trucking job and I think Jr. & Ed are really good people, they always treated me right and had really nice company trucks.........If there not in business anymore I really hate to hear that!

yeah i totally loved my job at jamestown, ed was really great to me and so was ben and even monty and randy that worked there in the office was totally cool as well, yes they did also have really nice trucks, most of which would run like the dickens, i personally think they will always be kinda legendary sorta like a modern day monfort, honestly i have not seen any of there trucks or trailers on the road in ages and i have seen some of there old trucks for sale at dealers across the country and they was mainly the 2007 model freightliner classics which was the last group of newer trucks they nought, always usually tell a jamestown truck by that pinstriping that junior loved so much, i wish someone would come on here and confirm that status of jamestown, I have not been able to get a run that i could go by there and see first hand what is there, hopefully they are still around, maybe under a differant name or something

How true is it that one of your drivers wrecked some time back and was killed and his wife had a real hard time in getting information to even get his body for the funeral?
