Seth was a good friend of mine who I went to school with since the first grade. He was one of the most amazing people I have ever known. He had the warmest smile and the kindest heart. I also went to school with Roy, he is a really nice guy who could make anyone laugh, but he also made a huge mistake he can never take back. Did he take our friend's life? Yes. Did he intentionally murder his own friend? No. Should he pay for what he has done? Yes, but should he be charged with murder and spend the rest of his life in prison, I don't think so. And the people of St.Ignace shouldn't be so quick to judge him, hate him or label him a murderer. Don't get me wrong, Seth's death broke my heart and I cry every day for the loss of such an amazing friend, but its a waste of time to hate Roy. Nothing will bring Seth back to us. I think we all just need to try and forgive. Seth and Roy were good friends. I know this is killing Roy, and I believe in my heart that Seth would want us all to forgive him, because that was the kind of person he was. Life is too short to hold grudges and be filled with hate. It will take a long time to heal and our hearts will forever be scarred by this, thats why we all need to stand together as a community, as friends and family to help each other get through this. My heart and prayers go out to Seth's family and all of his friends. We lost an angel, but he's up in heaven smiling down on all of us. I also pray that Roy & his family gets through this & and I hope he can forgive himself someday. I'm grateful for the time i had with seth, and am so honored to have known such an amazing person. Rest in Peace my friend, you'll forever be in my heart.
