Amen to that!!! I would hope that some "upstanding" attorney in the area will take this case and represent those peaches be them sliced or whole.

But seriously, when does fruit constitute a deadly weapon? Does it have to weigh a certain amount? For example, is a banana a misdemeanor and a watermelon a felony?

Do ytou still get discounts on dented cans? I guess some ambulance chaser lawyer will sue the crap out of the fruit manufacter for not having a danger warning about getting hit with the can. Probably sue the illegal fruit picker too!

In Jena, La a teen is being charged with attempted murder with a deadly weapon for beating the snot out of another kid with his sneaker. A can of fruit upside the head has to hurt worse than a Nike.
