Host of charges in thefts

Nassau police arrested a Valley Stream man on multiple larceny and forgery charges yesterday, saying he took credit cards from victims' purses or vehicles after stealing their keys.

Sean is a career criminal. Newsday did not mention an earlier arrest from about year and a half ago. Sean would work out in different gyms and take car keys. Then go out to parking lot and push tha remote till her heard sound from car then steal peoples stuff. He likes to use drugs. Has been in treatment numerous times without success. What Sean needs is a nice long stay in jail. He even rips off his family and they will not help him anymore...

The reporter of this article failed to mention that Sean Gluck has an extensive criminal record. Sean was just released in September of 2007, after serving 10 months in jail for similar crimes that he is being charged with now. It is obvious that 10 months did nothing for him and three months later he is back in jail. Sean was arrested in January 2007 and was given the title "The Long Island Gym Bandit" were he would steal from members of numerous gyms. I only hope now, the Nassau County District Attorneys Office does the right thing and sends him away for a long time. He is a menance to his family and society.

Jim...Sean just got out of jail in September. Three months later he is back in jail! I know his family well. His sister reported two months ago that Sean threatened to cut up his niece into little pieces. I think she is 7 or 8 years old. Is that sick? The local police department did not about it. It took the detective a month to get back to her. I know she must be one happy person that he is in jail.

Dear Franklin Square person thank you for the info on Seans recnt release from jail just this past Sept. I also know Sean. So do you think he needs more mental health treatment cause all his rehab stays and his stays at TOPIC House obviously was not enough. Too bad he just never got it. Now lets hope he gets it

I find that the justice system has not done right by alot of people. Locking someone up in jail, only makes them worse. They have three square meals, a place to sleep and a t.v. to watch. They love going upstate as they are freerer than in Nassau correctional. Bars arent the answer. They need professionawl help. They have to get to the route. I know Seans family and they have tried, but he needs therphy. He is a colllege grad, and is smart, something is wrong and they need to find out wha. Jail is an expense to the taxpayer?t

I never read these articles before, but someone mentioned it to me so I thought I would vent my feelings. Not knowing the real circumstances, and what presippertated the actions of this young man, I woud indeed think he needs help. He apparentlt is crying out for help and no one hears his cries. People are being kicked out of their homes, jobs are being lost, companies are going under. As a good friend, I would not even show her this because she has come to terms that you have it in for her.
