The Jewish Week Does It Again - AGAIN

There are 6 comments on the Orthomom story from Jun 15, 2007, titled The Jewish Week Does It Again - AGAIN. In it, Orthomom reports that:

“It does create some potential challenges for the community”

I feel like this has become a bit of a refrain, but the Jewish Week has another awful attempt at journalism in this week's issue. via Orthomom

it's right, orthomom.

the currently slated school board has ruined the district for all.

and yes. your kids ARE "the beneficiaries of public services like transportation and special education above and beyond what New York State mandates".

at least don't lie about it.

it's called divisiveness.

it's called giving the library and easement for free and then afterwards deciding to charge for it.

it's called pre-k busing.

it's called catering to the non-public school parents and not caring one whit about the public school students.

it's called let's not fix the schools. let's give the money back to the residents.

private school parents should not have a mjority on a public school board. it is an inherent conflict of interest.

and if you do not see it, you are blind.

The Number One School for starters. The lack of repairs to the existing schools. The cutting of services to the public schools ie: after school bussing, certian reading programs, after school programs, some sports. The lack of crossing guards at the LMS and LHS.
