Just wondering if you have been thrown out of the Green Door yet? Linda sure has got high and mighty lately refusing x-ranch customers service with her too busy to let coffee and tea drinkers to enjoy a little r and r time in her place. But the best one is when a five month old baby cried and she threw him and his father out in the middle of their lunch.

Yes I too got refused service at the Green Door at two o'clock because I was interfering with her noon customers when I asked for a glass of tea. Funny when she was closed her regular customers use to come to the Ranch and they was always welcomed by both the regulars there and the help and owner for anything they wanted even if it was a glass of tea, coffee, meal or just a place to sit and relax and visit. We sure do miss the Ranch.

Don't look Ethel but she got us too. Wife and I were there asked for soda drinks and she had fit, be glad when the new owners take over the Ranch, she may not be so smart when they all go there again, may take some of her old customers with them.

THE DONK!!! you can't run a business with limited seating when you have a bunch of people taking up time and space sipping on a cup of coffee or tea. Want a drink? Get it and go or come in on the off times . The green door isn't the senior Center.

well waistgunner I have ate several meals in past for several years in the Green Door, but no more. And her high and mighty attitude that she thinks she don't need the coffee or tea drinkers is ok but the next time they have a meeting you can bet that I and my family will never be there again.

Why would anyone go there after the way she treats customers? I will never go there again and will be sure the word gets out about her attitude.

At the time I was there wasn't half a dozen people there at the most, and after she refused to serve me, the next person that came in when I was going out so I was told ordered a glass of tea and she served them. She doesn't want any of the ranch customers because she said she felt like they were coming in there because she was their second choice, wrong she was the last choice, lmao...

She is lucky she is a choice at all, there are other eating places in town who would be happy to serve anyone.

Well that's what makes America great. We have the right to choose where we do business.

How the green Door does business will make an interesting subject to watch ,(heaven knows there's not much else interesting around here )Will it prosper or will it meet the fate of the ranch? As far as I can remember it's been operating continously since the Fourties as Rip's Lunch up to the present day as the Green Door. It's just my opinion but I'm thinking it'll probably still be here this time next year. You know it could be that there is a Market here for a Coffee Shop ? A Place for primarily sitting , visiting and drinking coffee and Tea . Any thoughts on That ??

Why not? There was alot of times, that we were packed and someone came in and order a coke, coffee and or tea and sat down at a table, to take a load off, get out of the heat or just to rest. Its called customer service, being nice to these people means they will come back and eat. People are what make or break a business, now that is common sense.

Linda has always had an attitude against the RANCH customers. I try to patronize all of the cafe's in town. I had stopped going to the RANCH when Jim took over. But spending any more time in THE GREEN DOOR didnt matter. If you are not one of Linda's people then she is realy kinda rude. I don't go in there very much anymore. I was NOT one of those coffee drinkers that she does not like either. The only time i was in there was to eat.
