Six months' leave-of-absense over a dog's death?
Crazy.

I've never heard of time off when pet dies. i've lost many pets over many years time and never got a day off to mourn. This country is becoming a big bunch of babies, for gosh sakes, suck it up and move on. We've all had to put a beloved family dog to sleep, you don't take time off for such a thing. Just how fragile are people becoming here? Crazy is exactley right...

Why didn't Harley simply pick a up a phone and call her master and let him know she was left behind?

If the victim were you, a moment of farting would be more than enough.

A yorkie ran free in a truck stop for two days and didn't get stolen? WOW. Either Missouri is not a dog state or all the people are super honest.

>Siau was heartbroken. In October, Rambo’s father, Ollie, who also accompanied Siau on trips, was run over and killed.

How'd that happen? Wasn't on leash, apparently.

>But he might not have been there much longer. Ledbetter said a family that had stopped at the rest area was just about to adopt the apparently lost puppy.

No microchip.

We have a two time loser, monumentally stupid pet owner here.

I hope Mr. Saiu gave a generous donation to the Animal Shelter. What a loyal animal.

No where does it say it was paid time off. Many people consider their pets family. They (the pets) are more loyal, never argumentive and they never ask for money that never gets paid back. If he felt he needed the time off, his employer gave him the time off. Probably without pay or part of that time off was his paid vacation & flex time.
