Yes , my husband was of those rounded up in the first round of lay offs on the yellow cars several years ago. It was comparible to the Nazi's rounding up the Jews. Clipper wanted to show all the employees that if you speak up for what is right , this is what will happen to you, he was one of the first 50 hired and the first 50 walked out the door. Some posted comments about that round of lay offs as the trash being taken out. I hope they got what they deserved, they probably still have their jobs though as they are the ones that caused the problems to begin with, people of low moral character with no interest in a product that actually works being produced, no pride in a job well done. Our congressmen and senators SHOULD'NT keep throwing money to a failing company. Im not saying they shouldnt keep putting money in to the wind power industry as a whole just not to companies like Clipper. I am sorry for the loss of jobs in our community, we do need good paying jobs, unfortunately our community leaders offer BIG cash incentives to companies to bring their work to us then choose to NOT listen to what the people who have lost their jobs are telling them is wrong at that business. I wrote to Governor Culver who chose to stay out of the fight.I guess my vote didnt count to him as much as a big business's political donation.
