New school in Leander

My kids school is planning to move to Leander. It is an Islamic school and I am worried about the school being in this area with all of the negative media associated with Muslims and Islam. Is Leander generally a liberal place to live? Also, the school will be located in an industrial area off of Leander Dr. Is this location suitable for a K-12 private school? Are there any problems associated with this area?
Thanks for any information...a concerned parent.

I have lived in Leander for over 10 years and it is generally a conservative city, however it is not unwelcoming. I know where your child's school will be relocating and while it is an industrial area it is not unsafe. A private Christian school was in the facility before. They outgrew the facility and have since relocated. I hope that answers your questions and you have a good experience in Leander.
