Adam Martin is over those investigation. He is doing a damn good job. You continously seeing his name or him doing work with these kids. It makes me feel great to know that he is such a good investigator and is on these kids side

i did do something i called cps and nothing was done until this happened thank you much you can't do much when the cps isn't doing a damn thing for people who need this kind of help so if you want to talk about someone then you look to cps for this matter

I think they need some new blood in CPS myself. What does it take for someone to listen, "DEATH" which I know is harsh, but it is the truth. It is a shame that all that matters in these type of situations is a person's pay check.

this is such as sad situation. i saw in the news where this lady hit this child with a belt she says JUST three times okay whatever according to news articles this child had severe injuries and this girl is out on bail i guess that is our system the best in the world but for a person to harm a child in that way is just very very SAD.DO I HEAR five years in prison.

I think this is a sad situation, but none of us were there. For all we know it could've been completely blown out of proportion. I AM NOT A SUPPORTER, FAMILY, OR HAVE ANY OTHER AFFILIATION to Ms. Kirk.(Note that please.)
However I am 30 + yrs old and I remember LARGE wooden paddles in the classroom and they weren't there for decoration. We were brought up knowing better. We weren't beaten, and a spanking was not considered abuse. I was not there so I cannot judge.
From what I understand the child was 7yrs old and has some slight mental issues, but was using pull ups and leaving them all over the house.(I wonder why a seven yr old is in pull ups, that is a little questionable....)

I hope that no matter the situation that the children are ok and that everyone know the facts before judging her.

The child when sent to school has marks all over. Face, Neck, stomach and so on. This isnt from a "spanking" this is from a damn beating.(Most spankings I had were on the ASS.) I also know that a week or so prior, she did the same to the older sibling a young girl. That is why several counts are being charged against her.( read the papers) Its a repeated thing with this Autumn and the childrens mother Leigh Ann. I know this isnt the first time they have had visits concerning kids and fights amoung the 2 women.Remind you this girl is a nurse and a former daycare worker. Kids are placed with the father, where 3 of the siblings have been!.( all 5 of them) I dont care if the child left shity or pissy things all over, the point is, train him properly . No call for this behavior from any adult .So now for next topix. You can discuss the difference from a "spanking" and a freaking "beating"

Such a shame. It is very hard for me to read this section of topix as I am a mother and a grandmother and it just bring's tears to my eyes that people can actually beat children this way. I just hope that the children are placed somewhere they are safe. God love them.

I have known Ms. Kirk my whole life. I think she needs to spend every minute of the time she gets. I have seen her around the kids, and I am glad they are out of the house. Neither the mother or Ms. Kirk should be around those kids. They are loose cannons. They do drugs all the time. I am sure that I read in the paper before this that she was also caught shop lifting. She should do the time.

I commend you "fly on the wall." God Bless their little hearts and bruises. People are bashing the 2 So-Called Mothers, lets be more concerned for the kids. I know it is hard to take children from their moms, but, if things like this are going to happen, then, yes place them where they are going to be loved. I also know the "2", but not very well.
