If they left as the clerk asked them to without incident, then what's the issue? To call the cops and issue a citation sounds very overboard, and as stated earlier, a waste of taxpayer's money! What a closed-minded clerk!

Pretty stupid reason for a citation if you ask me!! Do cops really have nothing better to do, come on they are kids, they didn't do anything wrong.

I know some of these guys and they are way cool. AF police need to settle down. Whats funnier is that they tracked them down at lone peak.

These look like good boys just doing what they have seen on TV commercials. I think that McDonalds should have handled this way different. If I were involved I would have the whole school boycott McDonalds.

I for sure would have laughed my butt off at these kids. They would have made my day if I was the manager of such a hot place to work for.Still LOL... I would have thrown in the fries and dr. pepper free and thanked them for making me smile. Way to go AF"s finest you made the news again. WOW.

cops are board here in AF, in fact we haven't had any real police work since two teens let a pheasant go on the football field during a game. lets ruin some more teens clean criminal record. hey AF's finest go over to the high school, just maybe there is a student parked illegal. why does AF city have 6 police officers and 2 dicks at the local football games? are they board, or are they that unstable that they like to google over the young girls.

Don't always believe what I hear on the news, but, vulgar language (swearing) is no longer an element of disorderly conduct. So, if the teens were cited based on the use of vulgar language, I don't think the cops have a case.

I think it is ridiculous! So many worse things are happening out there (on our streets), and rapping a song is not hurting anyone! McDonalds just lost my business. After all, these are just kids having some fun...maybe not exactly the "RIGHT" kind according to some people, but hey, cut them some slack. It's not like they go everywhere and misbehaWe have bigger fish to fry.(In other words, let's take care of the REAL criminals. A Spanish Fork, Utah citizen.

Are they serious?! The only disorderly conduct was by the employee who chose to escalate the situation rather than laugh about it and take the order. Since when is having fun and creating a humorous moment considered a crime? The employees and other customers at McDonald's were not in any danger and the entire thing could have been kept under control if the employee had simply handled it better. Do we really want to send the message that having fun iis not tolerated?

If McDonald's called the police purely on the boys disrupting their business, does this give precedence for us to call the police when McDonald's disrupts our day by messing up our orders? How many times have we placed an order and received something completely different? We payed for product "A" and received product "B", isn't that wrong and disruptive as well? Perhaps we should all open a class action suit against McDonald's to show them how it feels. The employees involved here need to learn how to turn the other cheek, this entire episode is bad advertising for the already poor quality restaurant.

This state is so damn uptight.... kudos to the kids for being clever and having fun.... I guess the McDonalds employee being that of the higher working class, should get a sense of humor as well. Maybe these kids should send a letter similar to what Arnold send members of the CA assembly.....

I understand that working the drive through can be a pain and that all kinds of stuff goes on and so maybe it had been a long day or something, however MY GOODNESS these people need to get a grip!!! The people who own that Macdonalds should look into what kind of anal retentive individual they have running that outlet! What must it be like to work in a place where good clean fun is viewed as a reason to call the police? The person who blew this out of porportion should lose their job and never be in any sort of position of authority in the future. Apparently they can't handle it! The Macdonalds wasn't busy, there was nobody in line behind these kids, and they weren't being rude or pushing things too far, and they left when they were asked to leave, what reason could anyone have for calling the police in the first place? Where was the problem? But it didn't end there...... After investigating the situation what reason did the police have for laying charges? It takes about two seconds to figure out that this whole thing was blown WAY out of porportion and yet the police chose to add to the mess by laying charges? What's the problem? Was it a slow day? They should have driven over to the Macdonalds and given the person who lodged the complaint a major talking to for wasting their time as well as trying to cause problems where there weren't any! Now the Macdonalds and the police both look ridiculous at an international level!(I live in Canada and we are hearing about it, I'm sure news of this will travel the globe in short order.) Congratulations for making something out of nothing!

See the drunk driver in drive-thur later on?! Where are the cops them, but 'cause they pay, they not call the cops on them. Kids are kids and just a little fun not kill anyone, I hope they dismiss that, but I talking about AFPD, you never know, plus they need the money.
