Word is that they found a torso and some fingers. I just left the scene and that's the latest.

That's so awful! I'm watching out my window right now but I haven't gone down there to see what was going on. It's horrible to think something like that could happen in a small quiet town

Dude, now is not the time to complain like that. Someone just died. Save it.

I agree!

I think everyone around here is shaken up. I saw people leaving their apartments with bags packed. Hopefully this case will be solved quickly and whoever did this is caught. Until then everyone will question their safety.

I do see cops patrolling this area. But there's no telling if this was a crime done somewhere else and someone just dumped the body here. I'm sure they will be stepping up patrols in this area though. You also have to remember that it takes funding to do that.

Another outstanding citizen that complains about Law Enforcement yet he has no idea what they face every day....low pay, no respect, stupidity, failing equipment, etc. I bet you voted no on the E911 prop but will be the first to complain when you or someone you love needs their help but they can't help because the police cars are falling apart and they can't hear the dispatchers because the radio system is 50 years old!

If you had one hair on your Axs you would take responsibility for your own safety and stop blaming everyone else. And No, more cops is not the answer that is what your weak people always want, more of a Mommy state. Now get your weapon, go get some balls and watch your door.

I voted no because I don't want the cop's talking to the firefighters, I don't want their bad attitude rubbing off on them. Besides I don't really want to be on their radar 24-7

Im in Westmoor also Carter been here 9 years. Sounds like a dumped body to me. But you never know alot of scum moving in and around lately. Some guy just got knocked out by a thug infront of 605 sunday, was taken off in an ambulance. People should keep their kids in until they know what happened
