I have inherited a, what i believe from research, a 1940's Royal Junior Portable from my mom. It was my grandmother's when she was a teeneager. It still works great and has no damage to it at all and includes the original ribbon and case. I am not looking to sell it, but am insuring my home and was asked the worth for insurance reasons. If you have any idea, please let me know.

Recently ACQUIRED A NEAR MINT ROYAL TYPEWRITER; SMALLER THAN THE AVERAGE PORTABLE, HOWEVER IN THE PORTABLE-TYPE CASE. THE ID # is: D - 154086.
Would be interested in vintage; value, etc.

I found in my grandad's shed an old typewriter it says its a Royal, it also says that it was made in the british empire. does anyone know who i can contact to find out how much it is worth as they want me to chuck it on E-Bay. I'm from Australia
