The late, lamented columnist Molly Ivins always referred to Perry as "Governor Goodhair" to tease him about his homosexual affairs, which were (and are) the stuff of legend in Austin political circles, as well as fodder for gossip among Mrs. Perry's hairstylists. I was simply paying homage to Ms. Ivins, who would be having a field day with Perry's presidential ambitions and personal foibles. There's a good reason why "Perry gay" was a hidden key phrase in Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson's online campaign ads during her bid to unseat the Coiffed One ...

If you look REAL close in that photo you can almost see some ones hand up his ass working him like the puppet he is. Have some fun with that article, and replace the words Gay, and same sex with the word black or Jew. Its neat to see how that kind of ignorance and hate is pretty interchangeable. Or for a real larf use the word Christian.

One of the founding beliefs in the USA is that All men are created equal. Why has this changed? It has changed over the years, sometimes for the better. 1. Freeing the slaves. 2. The right to vote for all. 3. Ending workplace discrimination. Now we have groups that are saying people who are GLBT should not have the same rights as the rest of the US. A company can not refuse to hire someone because of their sexual orientation. You can not be denied custody of your children. We have whole lists of what rights can not be denied. Yet one simple right is being denied to one group of citizens in the US. Will the marriage of two same sexed people really cause problems? Will it- 1. Cause harm to another? 2. Give special rights denied to others? 3. Cause God to Smite the US? 4.Cause the destruction of religion in the US. The children see this debate going on in the US. What conclusions are they coming to because of it? By the government saying the GLBT community should not have this one simple right it is setting up a system of second class citizenship. It is using a religious based belief to decide what rights a person is to receive. Yet if you can find a Church that is willing to marry you how can the government withhold your religious rights and the rights given to all married people? Now I know some will say the benefits that come from being married are not based on religion, then what are they based on? The law says marriage is between a man and a woman, But what are they basing the decision on if not religion? If our government is making it's decisions based on religion what rights will be changed next? Will children living in same sex households be denied an education or health care? Will landlords be allowed to evict same sex couples based on religious belief? If All men are created equal it is time for the government to prove it.

Florida along with several other GOP ran states are making it so difficult for younger progressive thinking ( potential democrats) from registering with the theory they will give up, given the attitude of young people it more than likely work, also they made it illegal for the league of women voters to and teachers to help register people to vote. http://www.tampabay.com/news/politics/legisla... If there was no job discrimination ENDA wouldn't be a issue it still has not passed ether houses
