In case you missed it, Concha Pena, the original subject was GITMO terrorists coming to NM prisons, thanks to an incredibly stupid move by Obama. The prisons are in our communities. Ergo, Obama is trying to send terrorists into our communities. Why is this difficult to understand? Obama is an amateurish, pseudo-intellectual Chicago machine politico born out of wedlock to bad parents. NM helped elect him; so why are the local Dems whining about the consequences now?

Yeah-so be it. NewMexico is not even thought to be a state of the USA so I guess we'll get a few, if not most, of those worthless criminals. Eventually they'll get to compete with the Hispanic white color jobs. I am not in the least whining about Obama. Give the man a chance to prove his presidential prowess,

LAMO Now that's a plan I hadn't thought of!
Let the Wombat supporters in Albukookoo take care of them and if any of them do escape? Let them come to eastern New Mexico. We rednecks living out here would know what to do with them, short, sweet and not so silent.
Gee, I don't know. The way Pete Dinelli and Mayor Martin Chavez want to keep growing Albuquerque we may want to reconsider and have them sent here. We are going to be needing more cab drivers and convenience store clerks!

When you're held without trial, when you're not given representation until the last minute and the defense isn't allowed to see the evidence against you.....etc yeah that's a pretty lousy system (kangaroo court).
That is about as UnAmerican as it gets. You Cons ought to read the Constitution and The Geneva Conventions on POW Treatment.
We gave the enemy tacit approval to hold captive and torture our soldiers by doing these heinous things to them.
Sadly, you Cons just don't get it.
By the way, if its one thing the US does well is that it makes really good prisons.(Check the rates of other countries' incarcerations).
Everything you say applies to Courts in the United States of America. But remember: This is NEW MEXICO. Sure, it might have been allowed to join the Union in 1912, but someone forget to tell the cops, the District Attorney, Judges, etc.
New Mexico is slightly LESS corrupt than Old Mexico, but not by much. As far as the levels of violence go- GIVE IT TIME. The reason the drug cartels are moving here is because the whole state is so d-a-m-n-e-d CORRUPT. Source: Now retired FBI Senior Special Agent in Charge Thomas C. McClenaghan, during an interview aired on January 21, 2009, 10:15 PM MST, on K-R-Q-E, C-h-a-n-n-e-l 13 News- "New Mexico is the Capital of Corruption of the USA". The cartels are like water- it always seeks its own level.

"Tacit approval?" Are you a poli sci major or what? That's the dumbest thing I read today, and I read a lot.
Since you're such a student of theory, how can these animals legitimately lay claim to American civil rights when they are not parties to the social contract?
"tacit consent..." idiot!
I think you mean "flaccid" which accurately describes the grasp you have on this theory.
Oh my goodness! I laughed so hard I snorted!
