Put them in a cage on the White House lawn.

Nowhere in theUSA the cage should be set up in the Arab desert or African jungle as far away from civilization as possible.

NM helped elect that b*stard Obama (strictly a descriptive term; he is after all the illegitimate son of an Hawaiian hippie and a deadbeat-dad bigamist; the "marriage" was invalid), so NM should get some of the pain - like terrorists who hate American even more than liberal Democrats do. This should be fun to watch from the sidelines.

Bingaman and Udall want Gitmo closed because they think we are not treating the terrorists good enough. I wonder what they are thinking about now that we have at least one state representative that says what we all think.

You ain't putting them in our back yard!!

I think the prisoners should be housed in President Obama's neighborhood in Chicago. These people have no business anywhere else in the USA. Tax dollars are already being spent housing these ememies of the US. Imagine the outrage if our soldiers threw fecies at the prisoners and we took away their prayer rugs? Americans that have been killed by these people did not have a choice.

First if Obama and the feds want this terrorists housed in the states penal system, guess what they will be housed in the states penal system.

Second I believe the Obama brain trust realize that there is no real solution to the GITMO problem. With his proclamation that GITMO will be closed by years end it leaves him with time to build a case as to why we can not close it. At the same time he keeps his followers pacified with a promise that he will. He will be using the old democratic play of rhetoric over sustains. This is like mana from heaven to his followers.

Once the civilian courts get involved, he will get pressure from lawyers of these terrorists to proceed into the civilian judicial system. With the economic issues being the front page topic, the GITMO problem will idle in the background.

The real solution is to load them on a ship and send them on a world cruise to all ports of call where they are wanted. Or we could just sink it!

Another 'not in my backyard' situation. They must go somewhere. Why not to an area that voted heavily for Obama..like Albq.

Since most of them supported the president and did not approve of the "torture" and detainment, what is the problem. It is not like they are sex offenders. Move them into your neighborhood and be understanding and sympathetic.

Hard to believe we have a bunch of Jack Bauers in the Round House.

Let Nancy Pelosi take a couple of them, then there's Harry Reid, Barny Frank, Udall, and the list is endless. There are plenty of liberals to take in these abused men and pamper.

Let them in, turn them loose & declare hunting season!

Has anyone heard that joke [I WISH I COULD REMEBER HOW IT WENT!] about the cowboy saying 'we haven't played cowboys & terrorists yet'?

Well that's the problem with closing Gitmo, isn't it? We had a safe place for these animals.

I mean realistically what are our options other than creating another Gitmo somewhere else?

Perhaps we should make a spectacle out of sawing their heads off with hunting knives, capturing it on camera phones and then posting the footage on the internet.

Would that be barbaric?

The story should be Pres. Obama signs Exe. Order on Feb. 4/09 to bring 100,000 Hamas related refugees to U.S. at a cost of $20.5 mill. taxpayers money. That didn`t make news due to gag order.Where does Obama get off with all these wining trips around U.S. at $5 mill a pop.Not his money!!!!!

LAMO Now that's a plan I hadn't thought of!

Let the Wombat supporters in Albukookoo take care of them and if any of them do escape? Let them come to eastern New Mexico. We rednecks living out here would know what to do with them, short, sweet and not so silent.

Send them to Houston where I live and let them come to a Sporting Clay Shoot like the one we just held for Homes For Our Troops. HFOT builds homes for severely injured soldiers and Marines from Afganistan and Iraq. Several of these young vets attended our shoot missing arms and legs. It was very sobering as these soldiers told how much these specially adapted homes meant to them with their disabilities. I can guarantee you none of us sponsoring or attending the shoot would have had any sympathy for terrorists who did this to these brave Americans!

And how exactly is the state going to keep them out?

I think people just don't think through things these days. Close it and then what? Treat criminals from other countries to the same laws as Americans when they don't do that to Americans. Why can't we treat them the same exact way they treat us? I mean there is more compassion in this city for prairie dogs and illegals than there are for the children. So yep, send them to Alb, they will be treated well by the prairie dog society, but not by me!
