Charlies II, Joeys or Triple C

Which do you perfer?
Charlies II is great. Always great service, always good food.
Joeys- Been there few times. Was ok, but kind of high, but you got a lot of food for your money
Triple C- Last resort. It is way too expensive for the little food you get. The little food you get is usually good and the service is usually good, but we are in DEVINE!! Be realistic with your prices. When Whiffletree was here and both Charlies and Whiffletree hurt Triple C with business, they finally went down. Now Triple C prices back up!~

I have to say Rocky's. They usually have very good steaks and the guy who runs it is a real chef from California. I am always amazed at the quality you get for the price you pay. This is a side note, but the sour dough bread they serve does not affect my sugar levels very much. In SA a place like this would costs twice as much, in Austin, shoot. Anyway, that's my take.

I think Charlies think they have it all sewed up since they have been here so long, the food is greasy and they keep going up on the prices,why dont they get out and get a building of their own then maybe it would be cheaper and i hope more parking. TRIPLE C is rude and cater to only people they prefer, food not good , service lousy.ROCKIES is GOOD HAVE WONDERFUL STEAKSbut do not go on lunch hour because you will not make it in 1 hour, great guy though.

I love Charlies but yes it is too small and the prices are too high, I think alot of their customers may end up giving Joey's and Viva Zapatas their business because those two places are always packed.

For Mexican food it has to be Arcos, their beef fajita tacos with avocado slices RULE!

Triple C has gone down the drain. They used to have good food at lower prices. Now they have poor food at high prices. Just my opinion.

where is joeys located in Devine? Did the Whiffletree close up?

Joey's is in the old Whiffletree place in Devine. The new Whiffletree is in Pleasanton at the old Shorty's steakhouse. Now Triple C makes their money off the traffic offa 35 which is why they don't care about locals very much unless they know you have money. I am going to Joey's later just to see how nice it is.

I can't stand charlies everytime my hispanic husband and I go in there were treated rudly and the food taste like crap we can never get a waitress and we were overcharged twice

This thing about Charlies, well, your not alone. I avoid the place and have always felt mistreated there. I always thought they were going to shut down when they started pushing up their prices. A rude waitress or bad cashier always kills a nice restaurant no matter what the owners do. The owners never realize a bad employee is running off their customers unless you tell them.

She did talk alot but she was ALWAYS very nice. I feel bad for her, she's a single parent trying to raise a teenage daughter. Kenneth Cox really f*%#@d up when he fired her.

I have not gone to triple c in a while but are u talking about Julie? You are very right, she is a nice person.
