I had a man do the same thing to me on Abbott and Eden about a few years back. At the time i was at the corner with a glass of Iced Tea and he exposed himself to me in a car. My friend said it was the same man who exposed himself to her before in the park. I ended up throwing my glass of iced tea at his car and I saw him take off towards Mercy hospital from dairy queen on Abbott. I was so disgusted that I decided to walk in the direction to where I saw his car turned, I went to potters made a left and saw the same car (a white car). I called the police and they arrested the guy. I didn't show up in court because the police made fun of me and mad it as if it was a joke, so I was scared.Asking me how big his "thing was" jokingly, and I felt uncomfortable. I am now 28 years old, was 23-24 at the time, and now have a strong feeling it's the same man. He did this to a bunch of my friends who hung out in the park drinking at the time, and obviously never reported it. If the police read this I would check into a house right by the park where a guy lives that has been charged with indicent exposure. I think and thats "THINK" his name is Gary, but i cant be positive. Just check the houses on Porter for the man who was charged back in I would say 2002=2004 I would call the police myself, but feel like they will laugh at me again. PLEASE check into this.

Is it just me or does it seems the pediphiles appearances are more frequent or do you think its just being reported more often? I understand as the weather improves, the offenders come crawling out..but Im wondering if the public just wasnt notified as much....

i think both. I have something called family watch dog that shows the pedphiles in your specific area. In mine alone you wouldnt believve it. And also i think its also people notifying them. Its very scary having kids these days and i have five.

I think people aren't afraid to report it anymore. to Know: what a horrible experience for you, especially your treatment from the police. I hope the guy who is doing this gets caught and goes to jail. Anyone who thinks exposing themselves and scaring women is a turn on is sick and needs to be removed from society before he escalates into worse.

It's probably just Judge D'Amico again it's his MO. When he's not "working" he likes to expose himself in parks as a hobby.Freako D'Amico.

Surprising to some, but shocking? No. These perverts re-appear almost every year at some time or another at any number of parks and playgrounds, in every village, town and city...and once, as my wife found out, driving about sans pants, only to call some unsuspecting child or woman over to ask for directions.(She laughed and pointed at his "short-comings"...I love that woman, LOL).

All joking aside, residing near Caz Park for almost 40 years, we hear about this more often than we care to...and many a day I have gone to the park at the request of a son or neighbor who thought someone looked "suspicious"...

I'm disgusted that these men exist, not only for what they do, but also because they force parents to curtail their children from enjoying the park. They instill a fear that every parent goes through at some point in time, that their child's safety is in danger... They steal the chances for young people, both boys and girls, to just have fun being a kid. They further foster that same fear into female senior citizens, who enjoy the simplest of pleasures as taking their dog for a walk...and finally, they indirectly are responsible for older men such as myself of enjoying a walk through the park, lest we be scrutinized for something more evil...

Of all the services that have been cut from the Buffalo Police department, the only one I truly wish to return from days of old is the officer that used to routinely patrol the park on his motorcycle. Mothers and fathers knew him, children called out his name and waved, and everyone of us, felt a little more secure knowing he was there...every day.

Did anyone come out to investigate your claim?

I've taken to "patrolling" the park during the day with one of the ladies who I mentioned enjoys walking her dog, and we'll definitely keep an eye out for this guy.

We've talked to neighbors, and we wished we could somehow give out our addresses as a "safe house" for kids to go to if they felt threatened, but there is simply no way to wisely do this.

Instead, we have asked the neighbors personally, to pay a bit more attention to the park area, and not hesitate to call the Buffalo Police, even if it's only a hunch. It's safer to be wrong, than it is finding out you might have stopped something wrong from happening.

Yes they did come, they took the camera and took it downtown to the investigation department and i guess got alot of still pictures. They arent saying to much they brought the camera back in the afternoon and did talk to one of my daughters. Its really sad as you say this has been going on for a long time.. Where are these kids safe anymore. The police make them leave the corner of mineral springs where the good kids skateboard, they make them leave the casino, where are they to go. It is really hard having to keep your kids especiallly teens in the house all the time. Not to mention there are people all over here dealing drugs right in front of your eyes. Its really sad. They need to pay more attention to south buffalo as a whole plain and simple. Great idea about a safe house.. I recently started letting the kids come here, we have alot of land behind our house and they are really good kids, id rather see them here then out on the streets where its a jungle. Your right wouldnt it be nice to have the police patroling around here. I remember when they were walking the streets.. What happened to that?

West Seneca has 150 cops that do virtually nothing but write a tickets and give a few DWI's. They would wet themselfs if they ever came across anyone dangerous, but take 75 of them. If ya want them
