This piece of crap is probably well South of the Border by now.

Continuing to pray for the young lady's recovery and well being.

The law can't keep up with all the crime. They are swamped and have to make sure that people are wearing their seatbelts this time of year so they probably will have to let this one slide I bet.

I am going to be critical here and blame SLED for not sending the dogs. Bloodhounds are amazing and can pick up scents in an awesome, miracles way. Gifts to Man, is that they are.

This happened between 2 and 3 am, Friday morning. I am going to ASK, was this a STRIP club she had been working?

Don't throw any rocks, juts curious. The media is not all over this story, like they should be. WHY?

Hi MiniMe, how are you today?

You should be glad that I got to your question first and not the family....no, it was not a strip club. She was out that late working an honest, legitimate job at her family's restaurant. It was NOT a strip club, she was not being promiscuous, just a productive member of society.

Unfortunately, our economy requires that people of all types work late at night. I have worked kitchen jobs when I was younger at restaurants and didn't get out until after 3-4 am. And if business was good, we stayed open later. She was just living her life until that monster came along.

I agree, dogs should have been 'scent' in...no, but this is not a laughing matter. They do have amazing abilities, though. Did you know they have explosives-sniffing rats in Africa (Gambian rats, very large) used to detect land mines? They bribe them with bananas....sorry off topic.

When they DO catch this creep, they should just let the dogs on him and sit back and watch to make up for lost time.

Nope. No stripper there. What difference would that make? Rape is rape regardless of where it happened!

This mexican perp is full of brutal rage and apparently has some strenght in his spindly arms, since he beat this poor girl to a pulp and she was reported to be unrecognizble by the damage he inflicted.. I want more news about this. WHY are they not keeping the public informed.

What's going on?

I am not from that area and don't recall what buildings are close to Krispy Creme. They are some bars across the street. It doesn't make a difference as far as her assault goes but will shed some light on the kind of people that were possibly witness's. Yes, ofcourse rape is rape, and it is reported he beat her face to a an unrecognizable condition. That is agravated rage and it worries me Cayce PD has not done more. Atleast it is not reported, why didn't they send SLED dogs to his drop off point from the cab be left in. That makes no sense and is troubling to me.

Hey smc, Glad to see you. Working in a family resturant? Where was that reported? Thanks.

I have a friend that owns some bloodhounds in Ill. and she has told me some fantatic stories about how her dogs can lose a scent on a highway and pick it back up miles later. Bloodhounds are gifts to beholden.

I pray this crazed monster does not attack someone else and you know he will, if not arrested.

I agree this story does not have anywhere NEARLY enough coverage. The severity and violence of the crime (not to mention the suspect is still LOOSE!) merit much more media attention. They need to give out warnings to the women of the area so they can be safe and protect themselves, and give good descriptions of the guy to the men in the area so they can.....

Excuse my typo's or call them spelling errors. I don't like this keyboard and I do know how to spell, most of time. I see errors everyhwere. :(

I know the area real well. Seems it took place near Brunches. That is a great place to eat. I hope and pray that the police gets him. On a lighter note Brunches is a wonderful friendly place to eat. There is a waitress there by the name of Sunshine. They do not come any better. A lot of seniors eat there. Granny, get your gun out.

It was not actually reported, I do not think so, anyway. However, when the story first came up late last night, several folks claiming to be close to the girl and family showed up on the forum and said she was a youth working at a family restaurant. They also refer to the restaurant as a 'family' restaurant in the article, but decline to mention whose restaurant (I believe for privacy issues).

According to the supposed family, she was the daughter working late. Not even dressed slutty, just in the wrong place at the wrong time. They were quite adamant, and posted their support for her and referred to her as "B". Believing this makes more sense to me than to falsely judge a young lady whom I do not know at all.

I'm in no position to judge her or her character, but like you said, rape is rape. And this one was particularly brutal, it seems. My prayers are for her, no matter what her profession.

And yes, I have an old Beagle but he can't find his own behind...other hound dogs are extremely gifted, though :)

There's a dime a dozen of them walking around Walmart or the flea market, is my guess.
The friend of the girl posted it was a "dumb situation".....and that gave me pause. Oh well..will let it drop. The story is lacking details and that leads me to believe ....never mind. I will shut up for now. Don't want to get the friends fired up over nothing. I mean no disrepect but that was a brutual attack. Guess CAYCE PD AND SLED don't feel the citizens and society has anymore business knowing anymore farce details. Like, how old was this "child" and where exactly was she attacked? In her families resturant? Let's not go into Child Labor laws. Over and out.

Some granules of sugar or salt have gotten into my keyboard and I have to smash each letter down most of the time or they don't work. Don't feel bad, I know from speaking with you for a few days now that you are more intelligent than a few errors.

That's the problem with under-reporting. All we can do is pray for the victim, hope for more details, and pray the scum is taken off of the street. Without more details, it is difficult to have an intelligent discussion on any topic. We can speculate, but that leads us no closer to the truth than WLTX has.

Just read the article again. It was written that employees leave at daylight and always watch the parking lot when they leave. The resturant closes at 3am. Oh well. Guess we will have to wait until the Perp strikes again.

WHY DIDN'T THEY SEND THE BLOODHOUNDS!!! okay, I am done now.

I have had beagles, they are only darlings, not good at sniffing anything but squirels.

I swear, Beagles are the cutest puppies. Bailey (my beagle) is still wonderful. He chases the green little lizards in the summer but is afraid of them and won't bite them. Too sweet to kill a thing. Just a snugglebug.

They should have brought in bloodhounds, no question there MiniMe. I agree completely.
