Amazon cancels contracts, job listings for SC site
Amazon all but told South Carolina goodbye Wednesday after the online retailer lost a legislative showdown on a sales tax collection exemption it wants to open a distribution center that would bring 1,249 jobs to the Midlands.

I cant beleive that the big boys in the legislature can keep giving the unemployed that dont want to work free money and then run off 1200 jobs for the unemployed that do. We need to put a little more common sense in office. Dont wory my fellow hard working Americaians these clowns cant ruin our way of life forever. Amazon sorry we tried.

It is true, the Powers That Be in South Carolina really showed Amazon.com who is boss. I really hope that Amazon.com will be able to recover from this tragic blow to them and...
Oh wait, Amazon.com will just build another warehouse in another state and the only people that The Powers That Be in South Carolia have screwed were their own.
