You are crazy!! He is an innocent teenage boy who had absolutely nothing to do with this..shame on you!! Keep your mouth shut and quit gossiping If you want to visit, come on over or give me a call....
My mom says I have to appoligize for gossiping and upset someone else mother. I'm just a teenager myself. I'm sorry I said anything and I won't repeat what I'm told again on here anyway. Again I'm sorry.

pop100 have the police use their new computer program that acts like a polygraph. It doesn't cost them anything to use it and they would probably jump at the chance to try out their new computer and program.

You sure seem to know a lot. It seems to me everytime someone post something you don't like you sure know all the facts. I think that the person above was just stating what they heard. I personally don't know any of them but I see the salina journal tonight is reporting they have a vehicle and it has evidence linking it. I know for a fact that they S&S Drug has a camera in the back and that is how they knew what kind of vehicle to look for because they took the tape from that night and saw what vehicle went through the alley. I heard from Diane's brother and they took Lauren Hills vehicle to Topeka for evidence.
I think people have rights to their opinions but I sure get tired of bitchy people complaining about what people post when no one really cares. I just want to see who ever did this pay. They should be put away for life.
If there is fact to S&S having a camera outside for coverage of the alley Diane was hit in,can someone answer one question for me? WHY DON'T THE COPS HAVE DIANE ON TAPE WALKING DOWN THE ALLEY AND HAVE AN EXACT TIME OF THE INCIDENT? From questions the police have asked several indivuals, including all those listed above as rumored suspects, the cops have about a 2 1/2 hour window of when the accident occured. This confuses me. It is sad to say but if our lovely police department would do their job correctly and not talk about cases with family and friends and have treated the accident as a crime to begin with when it was a hit-n-run the whole time this case would be a lot more cut-n-dry. When do the police have to answer for their screwing up cases and murder investigations in Beloit continuously?

Yeah jump at the chance to use their new program not knowing what the hell they are doing so they can screw up the case even more.

I'm not real sure it would be a good idea to let them practice with their new toy when so much is at stake. If a polygraph is given it should be by trained/certified operators at least. They started asking him to take one a week ago Monday, then they told him it was broke and it would have to be on Tuesday. He stayed home from work that morning and finally called to see when they wanted to do it. He was told it's still broke and they would let him know when. Finally on Wednesday, when he asked again, they got kind of snotty and told him they knew how to find him and not to worry about it until they did.

I'd prefer they find guinea pigs to practice on to find the city employees who are talking all over town like they are in the good ole boys circle. Most of them don't know any more than the rest of us.

I like you pop 100. Because i think you should be the guinea pig. You should get a job with the city and they can practice on YOU. I dont see any city employees making comments on this page Just you

She was referring to the comments city employees are making in town, along with police sharing info with their spouses, those spouses and family members continuing the chain of rumor and spreading it around town, and then there is everyone else that likes to talk like they know everything about the case. When the best part is there have been no results from any of the test run by the KBI. So how is it anyone other than the individual or individuals that hit Diane know anything for sure?

OK, I admit that I was not specific since only a couple city employees went into where the vehicles were impounded to play detective. Beloit does have a lot of good employees. As usual a few bad apples spoil the barrel. I do apologize to the city employees who are not part of this.

I would be happy to be the guinea pig for their new program but no one has asked.

Since nothing I've heard around town has any relationship to the facts, I put no more stock in the few city employees facts than I do in the other hundred rumors out there. What I think should be done is those who are investigating should investigate and those who are not investigators should stop.

As I said before, everyone under suspicion cannot be guilty. One or possibly two people are. As for the investigation, if the suspect vehicle is locked up tight in impound, why are they still looking at other vehicles? Many other vehicles. One which was recently checked had visible blood on it from an animal but they didn't even see it, let alone check it or ask questions. If it's all about solving this, someone who knows blood when they see it should be looking for it.

The police (who are also city employees) are telling the family that an arrest will be made soon. That they have the vehicle and know what happened. I don't think they do. I guess they'll tell us when they're ready but it is not fair to Diane's family to imply that it's all but closed when they are still asking the same questions they were asking a week ago Sunday.

Like it or not, Working Man, that's my opinion.

Another small comment, per the Wednesday Beloit Daily Call story, why are the county commissioners worried about the money being spent? Should they now curtail or take shortcuts in the investigation because the commissioners are worried about paying the bills?

Are we going to end up with no answers because the doesn't want to spend the money? Tell your commissioners that this is not the time to pinch pennies.

I agree with your post, but would ad to it . The Police need to shut up and stop talking about it all over town. This just ads to the problem and the police cheif needs to ask the Highway Patrol to take over the investigation. Because his police department cant handle it..

John Doe could you elaberate on what you mean about how the case is being handeled? Can you also suggest how you would handle this case since you think it is not being handle correctly? What makes you think you have any idea how this case is being handled.
Some people think they know so much about Law Enforcement however your truck stop Law Enforcement books are not always correct. So John Doe if you are so smart and you know so much about how to handle this case why dont you pass the information on to the local Police Department
you are doing a really good job!(I wont say your name!)These aassholes don't konw anything! They just want to talk shit to get to people!Keep up the good work!I dont want a person like john doe to handle this case!

Actually, some of us do know some things. I would respect them more if the police would inquire.
I believe their tunnel vision will result in another unsolved case.

pop100 or anyone else...if you know something. You should tell the police. They shouldn't have to inquire.

They can't interview everyone within a 100 mile radius.

If you know something and you don't want to get yourself involved. At least call it in to their Crime Stoppers number or go to their website and report it.

Put up or shut up.

I'm sorry pop100 my last post was very "harsh". But I've sat on the sidelines here too long. I don't know any "facts" here. I've heard tons of rumors and I feel terrible for everyone involved.

But really.....if anyone knows anything or hears anything. Tell the police and let them do their job. It's not just the Beloit PD involved in the investigation. They have help from Salina and probably the KBI.

But knowing information and not reporting it is terrible. Don't with hold information.

We all want closure for Diane's family and for the families of those who have been victims of the rumor mill too.

Maybe you should read the other 37 posts on here before you respond. You may figure out who pop100 is and get answers to the questions you have just asked.

That's why I apologized for being harsh and directing my comment at pop100. It should have been directed at anyone and everyone who seems to think they "KNOW" something. If they really do then report it.

I'm tired of hearing people say they know something but they won't report it. To those people I want to say....put up or shut up.
