It's too bad 4th grades from Tuscarora were not permitted to attend. Apparently the administration thought that it was not educational and the children would learn more in the classroom.

I have attended many Fall Farm Fun Fests since they started having them. They are a wonderful opportunity to educate the kids, and I personally enjoy the beauty of each farm. Thanks to every farmer involved over the years for some great experiences.

I totally agree. They are very well organized. Parents of 4th grade Tuscarora students should be upset. Their children missed out on a great opportunity!

I took my 2 daughters, ages 8 and 2, and they had a great time. It was very educational to see how the dairy industry works. It's a shame Tuscarora School District couldn't see how valuable it would be to send their students there.

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Libra

Get out and about whenever possible today. You're feeling energized and will want to keep active at every opportunity. Leave the car at home if you can and walk to your destination instead, or have a brisk walk in your lunch-hour. It will be even better if you can take a brief holiday from your usual routine and find some different surroundings for a change.
