what's it like living in Smithsburg

We're thinking of relocating. We hear the schools are very good. What makes them so good?
Do you see Hagerstown commercialization comming your way? We're looking for a low crime and quiet neighborhood.

Smithsburg is a great place to live. I grew up there and now after 10 years of being away I have returned to the area to stay. It is a small town that is growing but it remains low in crime. It has great small town festivals and parades. The school systems is great with small class sizes. Hagerstown is getting bigger and seems like the crime there is growing but mostly downtown as with most places. Smithsburg is great for commuting as well, it is approximately 20 mins from Frederick and approx 45 mins to Baltimore and Washington DC. I would definately recommend living in that area.

smithsburg is aright if your looking for a boring place
but the kids here are trouble makers
smoking weed and other drugs
i recomend not coming here unlees your kids are good

Hyattsville Maryland??????? I grew up in that cess pool. Moved out of there 10 years ago and never looked back. I moved just south of Smithsburg and I love it out here.
