pardon me, just a dumb country boy with a funny bone... was poking fun at the topic heading of "pizza hut" and the article was about "papa johns", and either way pizza is fairly affordable and they always have special deals... also .14$ added per pizza? never felt it, did you?
Very well said.

very well said...but so shallow. doesn't even understand cash-flow, cog, margins, supply and demand. just wait until o-bust-us-care (borrowed from tpctrigger) gets into full-TAXING-mode by end of 2013. by the nd of 2014, you'll be bringing home $2000.00 LESS of your wages PER YEAR thereafter.
you have assumed i don't understand cash flow, profit margin, supply / demand...lol...you KNOW NOTHING! i pointed out in the very beginning that you f'd up between the two "pizza giants" that are still in business btw, and the point is that raising their prices by .14$ won't kill them nor the consumer. geez, that means one pizza per week will break the bank for $7.28 over the course of a year........ fact of the matter petunia, if that's too much for you to absorb, maybe you need to improve your "cash flow" .. it is foolish to assume that this crisis "we" are facing will be fixed by one and not raising taxes, taxes are sure as death, and neither can be avoided. it is "our" problem, we caused it and to stand in the back and piss and moan is irresponsible. we all have a share in this mess, our future, and each other.....l8tr

As far as Pizza Hut goes, what I find interesting is that they can maintain for three years now what was supposed to be a three to six month promotion of cutting a large pizza from $17.49 to $10.00. Try to wrap your head around the magnitude of taking off $7.00 of 85% of the product that goes out that door. But it was their decision, so they can stand by it and stick it out. Yet, instead of returning to an admittedly inflated price (or any percentage thereof) to do right by the employees, they take the easy way out to avoid the insurance as well as saving on vacation pay and other benefits for established workers. An excuse is exactly what it is. They should all be very pleased with this health care bill.

Its happening at Pizza Hut as well. My daughters hrs just got cut to 28hrs/wk. She was pulling over 40hrs/wk. Corporate said it was directly because of obamacare. She will soon be homeless because she cant pay her rent now and now everyone is looking for a second job! Get prepared peeps! This is going to cause more homelessness and unemployment. Stupid effn sheeple need to wake the fuck up and help take back this country!!!!!! Stop supporting their agenda!!!

sorry b-man not every business owner is a republikkkan, and how mature to throw the race card in while accusing an entire political party of being kkk racists... personally i can't stand either party but i don't go around bashing the entire party and automatically affiliating them with anyone who i don't agree with... there are plenty of democrats who are doing the exact same thing of cutting hours...

anywho the same is happening to Pizza Hut, nobody can work over 28 hours so that they don't have to pay out medical benefits... unless of course they are salary then they work like 50 hours...

When my daughter lost her job, there was no way I allowed her to be "homeless". She knows that she ALWAYS has a home to come to. Not to mention, I would never permit her to pay rent while she was here. Fortunately for her, she was able to find another job within 6 months, and now has a place of her own. But....if the situation arose again....I would have no qualms at having her back with us. While it may not be an ideal thing for offspring to move back home, there is no excuse for at least letting your child know that she will always have a place to go.

We don't need Health INSURANCE reform; we need Health COST reform; instead of requiring everyone to have health insurance, we should OUTLAW HEALTH INSURANCE ALTOGETHER; in doing so, we'd force the health INDUSTRY to compete; the reason why everything costs so much is the entitlement mentality of doctors, hospitals, and big pharma that assume/believe they are entitled to huge salaries. If we got rid of health insurance, the industry would have to compete again; can anyone say house calls?

Pizza Hut in Cedartown NEEDS to close! It's just plain NASTY! The one in Rockmart is not so bad. Hometown Pizza in Rockmart is pretty good too. Pizza Farm is so-so depending on who is in the kitchen and Portobello (sp?) in Cedartown is really good.

Johnny's in Rockmart is a joke. Claims to have New York Style pizza. Not!!!! I've had the REAL thing and theirs is laughable! Not to mention, they're just plain lazy at that place. Can't get orders correct and are rude when someone complains about getting the wrong thing. Seriously???

Didn't someone say that "Pizza Hut FORCED to raise prices, cut employees, to pay for Obamacare" and that there would be no more pizzas? I assume all have now shuttered their doors. How can they possibly stay open?
I understood that every business was shutting down due to Obamacare, including WallyWorld.

Such Bull shit. The Pizza companies are just nothing more than crooks who crush their employees in the sake of profit.

The majority of Canadians love their health care system. They recently voted the person who started the system, Lestet Pearson, as the person who had done the most for Canadian society
And if they are put on a waiting list, all they have to do is jump the border and go to an American hospital, the Canadians do not want the US to have socialized medicine, they just say that.If the US had socialized medicine, the really sick Canadians would no longer have the option to come to the US for immediate health care.
