Historically that area was productive. The local early miners all passed through the area but it was the Chinese that had the ability to scavenge the real profit from local efforts. IT is all still there, all the old timers said there was a mother source in this basin. The government is starving this valley with pot laws and forest service acting like they hate the locals we all feel the nastiness from the feds, all efforts to survive in this valley is contingent on gov approval. it is war folks.
