Dear Preacher,
I was there when you "officiated" Chris Holder's funeral. You started off telling attendees that you hadn't seen Chris in years. So, thank you for clarifying that you didn't really know him. Since you didn't know him, and you hadn't seen him in years, do you think you could have taken TWO MINUTES to speak to his brothers and sisters to find out how to pronounce their names? Or how to pronounce where they lived? Before you started your funeral service from hell?

You're a preacher. You knew or should have known that Chris Holder was shot and killed. His blood family with his daughters and brothers and sisters and cousins, all sat on one side of the room while Chris's estranged wife and her family sat on the other side. There were so many of us on Chris's side that the funeral home had to remove a couple rows of chairs on the other side, so they could add to ours. You had the one and only opportunity to give everyone there a little bit of peace... a little bit of comfort. Did you do that? NO. You weren't speaking for Chris. You weren't even speaking for God or from God. If you had, you would have heard God tell you what to say to bring healing to all of us - even for just a few minutes. But you didn't. You spoke from the lower level of man's loins. That's the only explanation for the disrespect you showed to the loving man laying in the coffin next to you while you stood there and disrespected him and disrespected his family - the Holder family.

WHO does that??? In a funeral service??? He was only 57 years old. Taken from us. Stolen from us. By the boyfriend of the woman you stood in front of. She is NOT his widow. She was the estranged wife of our beloved. She was having a sexual relationship with the man who shot and killed Chris Holder. We want Justice for him. ANY FAMILY would want Justice for their family member who was shot and killed. So what comforting words did you offer to the Holders? None. Instead, you bullied them. YOU BULLIED THEM in the middle of his own funeral service. We're sitting with Chris's coffin, trying to say a formal goodbye, trying to find comfort in our grief. And what did you say to them? "Don't throw stones." "Are you going to continue to throw stones?" Then you went into this whole thing about how bad it would be for us to want Justice for Chris by reducing our quest for righteousness to just "thinking badly" of an errant and estranged wife. You don't know what we know. You don't know what happened that night. We do. You and Tammy and her boyfriend, Albert Stephens - the shooter - and Tammy's mother, Ann, have forgotten something. Chris lived. It was God's own miracle, and he lived. He lived to tell what happened that night. You MIGHT'VE learned something about that if you had talked to Chris. But you didn't.

So, I will tell you that yes, there will be stones. Some stones are so huge that there's no way you can shuffle them away by shuffling your errant feet. Some stones are immovable. Like a stone called Truth. So, here's your stone, preacher. You were asked to visit Chris Holder in the hospital. And you refused. YOU REFUSED TO VISIT A DYING MAN. And you had the nerve to stand in front of the Holder family and admonish them for wanting Justice, Peace, and Comfort, for their murdered beloved. SHAME ON YOU. Will you confess that stone to your congregation? I doubt it. If you couldn't hear God's Word during a funeral service, I doubt you can hear Him at all.

The preacher, Rev Kevin Denton, threw stones at Chris's blood family during his so-called funeral service for Chris.

Dear "kevin",
I spoke about Truth, Justice, Peace, and Comfort... not revenge... and you even wrote the wrong quote. Justice doesn't come only at the last judgement... it comes in many forms - sometimes in the courtroom, sometimes in other ways. For instance, the story of Mel Ignatow, who tortured, raped and murdered his ex-fiancee. He got out of prison after serving only eight years for perjury, and it certainly seemed like injustice. However, he tripped in his apartment, fell into his glass coffee table, and sliced his throat open, and he bled out. Justice! It's always in God's Hands. The so-called Rev Kevin Denton was not only blind, he was deaf as well. He was not listening to God that day of the funeral. He was only listening to the voice of humans, specifically, an adulterous woman who conspired with her lover to murder her husband. Any minister who is performing a funeral service and doesn't even try to listen to God in order to comfort the bereaved family of the murdered victim is not much of a minister, and should be ashamed of his own relationship to God. I don't hate Kevin Denton... He just isn't a true minister, and needs to step away because he showed everyone that day that he doesn't and apparently can't, hear God . God has sent comfort every day! Your little hateful rant shows your true character. By the way, like Helen, you need to read the rules here.
