You have to live in the city limits to be mayor....even council and if he ran for mayor someone would challenge his residency and then everyone would know he has been living outside the city limits all of these years.

The same council will be back with Ford replacing the black guy. It would be nice to see this minor or pedigo guy vote out Denny or Buddy.

I agree with you b/c her church bunch will vote her in and she will try to stir a mess with the Fire Dept and Robert Smith. that's all she's after. She can't control her own house, hubby and boys. Don't need her but preacher man will probably work hard for that one since he's puffed up over the Fire Dept.

David Faulkner should have stayed with them. He did some very good things.

Carol Ford has two sons whom are over 40 that have issues with drugs and a husband whom has some kind of mental issue.

I think Wilshire gets voted out, he doesn't even know what a council is, he never opens his mouth.

A long time till November and write ins have till October 26 to file. Some surprises may be coming down the pike.

Write ins historically never garner many votes, Terrill Riley received 10 votes last year for council and Velvet Scott finished with under 50 votes in a distant sixth place in the last council race. Bob Hunt or someone else will have a very difficult chance at being a write in.

Whoever says mike doesn't live in the city is a liar, he's mowing his yard in the city now.

LOL...Maybe the others should just mow the yard of one of their other propertys. I am sure mike mows a few different yards, fields, lots, etc in the city limits because he owns quite a bit. But this does not mean that it is his primary residence. Many dont want to see things change for what is right so you will have to live with it. Hopefully I am wrong about some of them but I still forsee cc being the same at the next election. No new companies, no new jobs, and no new regulations to hold the council accountable.

You got that exactly right! He will pat you on the back and hang you at the same time. If it's true history does repeat itself all I can say is the Minton and Coomer will be next. By what I have observed.

Gary Minor and Wesley Pedigos efforts to win a council seat reminds me a lot of how hard Todd Esters campaigned years ago, looks like the old Betty Cline groupies are coming back. It's always disturbing when people push so hard to get elected, there's always a sneaky reason.
