It has been said that a man's greatest legacy is the family and friends he leaves behind. If that is the case, then, Roger Crabtree left a wonderful legacy indeed. He had a family who adored him, numerous friends who were always glad to hear from him. He made families near him feel as if they were a part of his own family.

The sadness in our hearts from losing this friend will be lifted by God's touch. The sadness is not for Roger, for we all know that he is with God now. Soaring above all of us in pure, real happiness, without sadness, without strife, without disease, without pain. Never to be touched by any of those things ever again. The sadness my friends is for our own selfishness, because we wish for our loved ones and friends to be able to stay here with us, even if just for a few moments longer.

Roger Crabtree, you were a true friend, a true family member to so many. May you be a guiding light to the rest of us on our way when our Lord calls us home.

Carolyn and children, you all are in our hearts and prayers and will remain there.
