I find it odd that every post about england and the lack of keeping quiet keeps disappearing. What is it they want to hide? Aparently if it is a lie they let it stay and when the truth is posted about their actions they have it removed. The mayor and council dont want the public to know what is going on as shown in last mondays meeting and the violations of the open records laws. Great job dewayne maybe you should hae let bob stay in office.

I agree, while I was not a fan of hunt especially after the Esters years, you got to give Bob credit that all the hate was never removed whether it was truthful or not. It amazes me that someone whether it's the new mayor or one of the new groupies is monitoring the posts and having them removed. The material posted is vital for the citizens of cave city, Hatcher and company have let there presence be known here and it's obvious they do not want any damaging evidence posted.

I am worried that a dangerous clique is forming at city hall under the new administration, at least Bob Hunt and Betty Clines crew never hid anything on topix. This could be a very dangerous time for cave city with all the secrets and lies being told in a 3 week period. Multiple posts removed all stating the truth, the media calling out the city for holding secret meetings, and the police are back at the motels all the time up to no good with women.

The police officer is the one that requested a close meeting and yes Bobby Reynolds was there.
Seems as though the officer couldn't make up his mind as to it being public or closed. It was his call.

According to what I'm viewing the city official aren't trying to hide anything. Just remember don't be a hater, hate the game not the players. The game has been played the Hunts lost! Pam got thrown out for not understanding the game requirements and Bob wanted to be a cheerleader and view it from the side line rather than a player so it was a touchdown for Hatcher!

It was a touchdown maybe but there is definately going to be penaltys for his and the councils actions. The way I see it they are going to form a new group between some council and hatcher so they can continue to do as they want. So far hatcher isnt doing good, as far as england his the closed session was a discipline hearing therefore yes he could ask it be non-public, but there was also a settlement hearing at the same time to payoff england. That should be public since the city is paying him off of some actions. All of the council and mayor should be paying attention to the laws also. Violating the open records laws could cost the city thousands in lawsuits. Finally if the meeting was closed session then who in the meeting let the information out? Some including myself knew what was going on by wednesday and the paper didnt have a clue to what it was and happend during the meeting. Whats to assure that future information wont be leaked. I dont believe they can hold a council meeting without making it public unless it is closed session then they have to follow the laws. At this point it isnt about beating hunt or pam, it is about the competence of the council and mayor perorming their dutys without lying, stealing, frauding, or breaking laws to get the tasks completed.

You may call his being placed into office a touchdown, but his actions so far are penaltys. I wouldnt get too happy about it. There is a book of the laws for the council and the mayor so they know how to run the city within the law, I suggest they read it or hatcher may find himself in court yet again for his moves. The opens records laws are probly one of the most important they need to fully understand, any mistake and there may be harsh penaltys ffrom the state or federal government. Things such as 10k fines etc, that isnt what the city needs is to let the mayor play politician and coast the city more than he can bring in to help the city. Face it hatcher is a rookie who bit off more than he could chew and the council does what they want.

If so many violations have been committed. I would suggest you file your complaint with the courts or other legal authorities where it counts! Posting on topix is for losers. Try it in the courts where is does count is my suggestion.

You must be a loser then because you posted on topix. Aparently you are not understanding the problem of corruption and fraud that goes on in cc. Outside sources are working on investigations and they will take some time to finish. In the meantime it will be discussed on topix.
