I want to know more about this story, as a technician myself, i rarely have anyone in the attic with me, and if they are, they sure as heck aren't walking across rafters or anything of the sort. yesterday most peoples attics were 130-150 degrees, interesting to see new details unfold, just doesn't make sense she would be up there with the technician.

stop calling this woman a nasty name. This has been a tragedy I am sure her family is devastaed not to mention the service tech. for you to keep ranting on about everything that you DO NOT KNOW is absurd. Now go crawl back in the woodwork before someone notices
you and trys to step on you.

No kidding, what the **** does this have to do with being a man or woman. the ceiling wasnt sexist, it was going to give either way. So what you are saying is a man would have had the time to think "hmm, thats a wire, dont grab that" in the . 3 seconds he had to think, jeez dude. I'm curious, are you married? i would say no just guessing.

And let me guess - those of us that are either not married, widowed, or their husbands are out of town - we are supposed to just rot and die because a man wasn't here to do it for us??
There's plenty of businesses that do this kind of work you can call. Don't be expecting them to send out a woman to fix it for you because none of them hire women to do this kind of work.

to the "BA Boy" your name says it all...BOY is right, you are the most hatefulest coldest human being.....a woman is dead and all you can do is talk crap about her.... you don't know why she was in that attic you don't know how she might have lost her footing so keep your mouth shut...i know this family personally i was close friends with her daughter and she was a beautiful person inside and out and very sweet....so please have some compassion for this womans family....i pray for her family and the tech he witnessed a horrible ACCIDENT that he will never get over, something most people will never have to experience, he did what he was trained to do....kudos to the tech

As a heartbroken friend grieving the loss of my beloved friend I can honestly tell you that I wish from the bottom of my heart that YOU had been the man/husband who had done this for her. Maybe she would be here now and we would be discussing the loss of YOU. If she could see me say that she wouldn't approve. She never judged or spoke harshly of even one person that I knew about. She would, however be glad and highly amused that she was able to give you something to talk about. You appear much too dimwitted to come up with anything on your own. Obviously you are jealous of the sense of loss we feel for this beloved woman.

She should have left a mans job to a man, dummy fell through the cieling trying to walk on the sheet rock, oh well she should have let airco fix the problem instead of acting like she had a clue to what was going on, and where was her lazy husband he should have fixed the problem like a real man. And why would Airco let a customer in the attic anyways. all those houses on that side of town are a death trap, junk old wore out houses pizz pore wiring and plumbing, burn all them 100 year old junk houses dowm and start over.
Really? I don't understand why ignorant people get on here and make stupid comments like you did!!! She was one of my mothers close friends. She has a family that is grieving right now behind this tragedy. Whether she had a husband or not doesn't change the fact that the tech shouldn't have let her go up there.

You are an idiot. This was my friend and she was a good person. She was a very intelligent woman and the kindest person I know. It doesnt matter why she was in the attic because now only the service person knows the conversation before entering the attic. She has children and grandchildren and many friends that will miss her. She has spent her life giving to children and protecting them. So you just assume that every woman living in a house has a husband to take care of things or needs one? Then you assume that the husband must be lazy since he wasnt there? And dont assume the service man made a mistake either. Why are you people bent on placing blame on someone?? This is an awful horrible tragic accident and her family and friends are reading your stupid inconsiderate comments. They are greiving enough without your crap so get off the internet and make yourself useful. Try volunteering to help others and and see if you can even come close to being as giving, and compassionate as this woman was towards others. If your stupid flip cooments here are any indication of your compassion, you are doomed to fail so just stay home and shut the hell up. To those of you who have made apropriate comments, Thank you, your thoughts are appreciated.

Good grief people!! This lovely woman is from my town (Perry). Why all the hateful things?? ACCIDENTS are not planned, they happen and take lives of great people like this. Husband?? WHO said she had one?? Airco tech did the right thing, to cut the elec source. Quit the horrible comments......God chose to take her.....it was her time.....my prayers go out to Norman, Frances and Jana's brother's.....also to the Airco man and his family.....

My heart goes out to the woman's family, certainly, but that tech was frozen in the front yard afterwards, just shaken to the core. That a horrible thing to go through & witness.

Hopefully more of you ladies will ask for your husbands help, if you ever encounter a situation such as this.
To the person that wrote this comment she was a divorce woman and if you read the report she had commissioned a repair MAN to do the job. I`m a MAN and a friend of hers and have to say your comment was horrid. I should hope that you were not born of WOMAN!!!! If I were a woman I wouldn`t have wasted the 9mos to give birth to you. Nonetheless you must have sad life or a lot anger in your heart.. Seek counseling fella

<quoted text>This Tech should have NEVER let her go up to show him something. That's what we get the BIG BUCKS for. Was there anyone else there that heard all this go down before she went up there? He more than likely didn't want to get in that hot attic and she was going to make sure her problem was fixed.
Makes me mad, what kind of "serviceman" would let someone go up in a hot attic on one of the hottest days of the year. If anything he should have darn near begged her not to go up there.
ACtech I think that you should really get all the facts before you start talking about other people. You have no idea what she was showing him. If I knew who you was I woul dnever use your services!!!

Most likely a horribly repressed nerd. You are right; family and friends, just ignore him. My condolences for your loss. It was an accident and nothing more.
