If he is as "mentally ill" and has a "known alcohol and drug addiction" why should we show compassion and worry about him when he is obviously choosing to not take control of his own life and known illnesses. I suffer from various "mental illnesses" but I confronted them sought treatment and function like a "normal" person. There are no truly "notmal" people. For me that's just a setting on my washing machine. Quit whining and complaining and mooching off of disability, confront and take care of your "issues". Wish more people were more responsible for themselves.

I was driving east on 51st around 7:45 taking my 3 yr old granddaughter home, saw a helicopter flying very low and out of nowhere a car driving at a very high speed passed the car in front of him and was headed straight toward me in my lane. I swerved to the right and it just happened to be the entrance to an addition. Five police cars were chasing him. Scariest thing that's ever happened to me.

Hitler is spelled with one "T"...and you sound like a bleeding heart. Regardless of your circumstances, substance abuse is a choice. Anything that "drove you to it" is an excuse.

My fiance and I were on our way to "date night" after many months of not having one. We came up to the intersection of 11th and 193rd and slowed down at the 4 way stop. We were just about to enter the intersection when this vehicle blew through it. He was going so fast that when he drove through the bottom of his car hit the pavement, created sparks, bounced, drove a little farther and then we witnessed it spin, flip and roll into the field. We stopped to help but the helicopter was right above us, Wagoner County pulled up and then we were surrounded by at least 8 police cars, ambulance and fire. We promptly left to get out of the way. We almost died that night. Had it been just a few more seconds, we would have been hit. I write this to tell whoever reads it that this man's "illness" almost created a 5 year old orphan. I've never taken life for granted, but my heart goes out to the people who choose to live without regards of it around others. I thank God for another beautiful day...

I can attest, that MANY ppl were blessd that they did not get killed by this guy, not only did he not seem to slow down at intersections, he seems to speed up each second I watch this guy fly passed and thru an intersection at 61st and Lynn Lane. I was by myself, and just so happened to see him coming up in my rear view so fast, that I knew something was up, had I not paid attention and tried to switch lanes or something, he would of rear ended me going a good 90-100 mph. This very Easily could of been a manslaugter charge. For you and I, and the other ppl that had close calls to this criminal, thankfuly we were all able to go home to our loved ones Saturday night!

I first want to THANK GOD that this young man was not killed and that he did not kill anyone. But there is always another side to the story. What people do not know or understand is that this young man has a severe mental problem and he unfortnately has a drug & alcohol problem.I know that the system is meant to protect, but were is it set up to help people who are REALLY sick and dont know that they are ill. We are all humans and I think that as humans we should show some compassion for people who are truly ill. This young man has a past of self destruction. He is REALLY ill and instead of jail he needs to be put in a mental hospital for life. WHERE is our compassion for the mentally ill or do we just keep letting them go untill they kill someone or themselves! DEAR GOD HELP this young man! He has not killed anyone and lets help him before he kills himself or someone else. HE IS SCREAMING FOR HELP!
So sorry to see someone in this condition.
