How do you look up license plates? I thought only cops could do that.

Bummer. Thank Matt, but maybe the car is registered to someone other then the person driving it. looking up a plate number is no harder then looking up a phone number it you have the right program to do it with. Thanks again Matt.

The story got updated about 15 minutes ago so the names could have been added then. Sometimes they post a story and then update as info comes in. It also says the lady in the SUV died.

Thoughts and prayers to all involved.

It's not that i use Google,(even though i am a google affiliate) I have the software and access to the data base for the information. I don't really need to use the link i provided, Just don't like people saying it can't be done.

My prayers are with the family also, God Bless.

There was a grocery store involved, my question why no stop lights? Maybe there is but doesn;t seem like it in the story!

There's a stoplight at the corner, but one would have to drive a couple hundred yards further and go through a side entrance, rather than take the turn that I assume they took. It's not a great intersection and I see people (coming both directions) do dumb things there regularly. My sympathies to the folks in both cars and their families.

Good question. I don't drive that way too often, but I think there may be a traffic light there. Anyone know?

Yes, I live east of Catoosa and shop at that Reasor's and anon is correct. You really have to be careful when turning into the store. That is where I do my grocery shopping. The light is further away from where you turn at. It is a big inconvenience to go all the way to the light to turn because you are going a pretty good bit out of the way. Anyone would turn where this elderly couple turned. They just probably thought that a car traveling in the direction that they were turning was further away than it actually was. You really have to watch that intersection good before turning. This is so very sad. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

This couple is well liked and respected in the community. They always put out a big garden and pass out their produce to all the neighbors. He is always there to help anyone. He mowed the grass for some old people that can't anymore.(He was 84 but really going strong.) He had cataract surgery that morning and was probably going to Reasor's to get a prescription filled. He was really excited about getting his eyes fixed. He usually drove, but because of the eye operation, Jane was driving and she pulled right out in front of the truck.
There is really going to be a void here in our neighborhood without them. Their children are grown and all live out of state. Jane had one arm. She had lost her arm in a boating accident years ago.

Well, at least they went together so one of them didn't have to be lonely and missing the other.
