If Barry feels so good about the murder reduction, why not move into the city?

It's not just murder numbers, it's a reduction in violent crime that I have yet to see.

Better yet why doesn't Barry take a job as a correctional officer guarding Mr. Morris or some other socio path just like Mr. Morris. If Mr. Morris kills another guard like poor Mr. Wroten what else can the State do to him? Give him double life without parole?

Baltimore City Police have little to no effect on the reduction of murders in the city. BCP should be judge by the percentage of solved murders and volient crime. I do agree that the last mayor alienated many of the city residents and made solving murders much more difficult for the police, but Dixon has done very little to help police solve crimes.

One month's numbers are not an excuse to celebrate just yet. I would love to see Baltimore turn around so I can hit the streets downtown and visit galleries, and restaurants again. I hope Dixon can succeed where ourformer horrible mayor/governor didn't even try. Here's to you Sheila.

Excuse me, wasn't Sheila Dixon the President of the Baltimore City Council when the boy wonder was stomping on the civil rights of black people and running amuck? Why wasn't she at the front of the line to criticize O'Malley. Oh, could it be she wanted to be Mayor and needed his endorsement? I think Dixon and the rest of the Council members sat on their butts and let the boy idiot do what he wanted. She will end up making the City a little better, what else can she do ..... Baltimore City is a toilet can't be any worst.

Dixon is doing agreat job in the city. I hope the city never has a male mayor again. Women know how to get it done.

Dixon is doing a great job on crime? I guess that's why she has been so invisible. She's out walking the beat with the cops.

Wait until it gets hot, and the murder numbers shoot up to where they usually are.

IT IS DUMB AND INSULTING TO COMPARE A REDUCTION IN HOMICIDES WITH THE YEAR 1978,I CNAT BELIEVE THAT THIS POLICE DEPARTMENT IS BOLD ENOUGH TO MAKE A CLAIM LIKE THIS OR EVEN TO COMPARE ANY REDUCTION IN CRIME..THEY HAVE JUST BEEN LUCKY...LETS SEE WHAT HAPPENS AS THE WEATHER GETS WARMER THAT IS THE ONLY TRUE INDICATOR OF REDUCTION..DONT FORGET JUST LIKE THIS PAPER THE COMMISSIONER IS ONE OF OMALLEYS YES MEN...
