I'd would like OUR Goverment to do something for its people about marjuana, make it legal! Its been
around and used socially since the late 1960's,its here its been here, and its not leaving here.Lets stop drug wars over it,and tax it.Let
the goverment sell it for $50.00 an ounce. The amount of revenue it will generate would be stagering, just what Every State could use right now.Let marjuana users out of our over crowed prisons.I think this could be a win win situation
for both THE PEOPLE who need it,want it,and the goverment making money from it.Call or email your goverment rep and lets put it on the ballot.

In a way, I agree but you would also have to handle it like alcohol. Just like 'no drinking and driving', it would be 'no tripping and driving'. Also,'no getting high in public' and you must be 21 and over!

No tripping and driving, etc all good and should be the norm for anyone, anyway. But for goodness sake, we DO have a medical marijuana law here, signed by then gov. Ehrlich on May 10 2003, let us take advantage of it! Our doctors don't prescribe it because they have had no chance to evaluate it since we are the federal government's back yard and cannot get it... My dad, who btw was freaking out just with the idea of "drugs", was prescribed it in CA, where he lives, for his glaucoma and his COPD. He never smoked (yes, there are many COPD patients who never smoked, the smoke-COPD link is more of a myth invented by doctors to allow them to overlook and dismiss most cases as smoke related) and could not 'inhale'... So he buys a butter they sell at the dispensaries and his wife bakes something - cookies, bread, etc. which he eats a piece of a couple of times a day. He doesn't get 'stoned', but he doesn't hurt and he doesn't panic so often. I was impressed by how much calmer and better he was when I last saw him. Of course, he cannot visit his grandchildren because he cannot have his medicinal cookies here... What a shame, what a ridiculous thing. GIVE US BACK OUR PARENTS, ALLOW THEM TO USE THEIR MEDICAL MARIJUANA.

why is everyone so keen on letting the govt take over and tax it???? They already have a zillion dollars of our tax money being wasted already.

legalize it and leave it alone for christs sake.

the war on drugs is a scam to criminalize predominantly victimless crimes, greatly expand government authority in private matters and make a fortune in the meantime.

im 40 yrs old and dont need uncle Sam or big brother telling me what i can and cant ingest in my own body.
