Please alert the public as to what is the ethnicity of the children. This information would be very helpful as we continue to look for them.

the house is 4 houses down from me. the house was basically a halfway house. i have prolly seen the two boys before walking on the street but i was sleeping and at school when this all happened. the amber alert did come into my myspace first before the tv so that tells you something by the way the stepon and sterling are 16 and 17 dont listen to the news they dont what their talking about.

I got the alert on my cell phone and at first i thought it wasn't real, 16 and 17 yrs old.....then i saw the news. I believe AMBER alerts should be standard on all phones. I hope the boys are found and safe.

come on now! even hard criminals don't go around shacking kids out of their homes for no reasons. i hate to be harsh, but maybe these kids had business with these guys. YOU THINK!!!

News reports DID state the correct ages of 16 and 17. And most ADULTS either don't have a my space page or DON'T go there when they are getting ready for work and listening to the news. Myspace isn't exactly known for being accurate either.

You don't know what you're talking about either. You were sleeping AND at school? So...you were sleeping in school. Based on your post alone, you really shouldn't be sleeping at school. And of course, we all know that Myspace is completely accurate. Anyone can see that there is more to this story. Nobody just comes into a house and ties up 10 people and takes 2. And the relative driving up the street at the same time--that in itself is fishy. The whole thing reeks of the same thing that that 8th grader's story out of Germantown reeked of a while ago.

I'm in high school Stephon Blackwell goes to my school which is Catonsville High and also lives on my street. Myspace was correct about the ages because they did use the AMBER alert. My bestie that was home had called me in school to let me know also I did have my grandmother and my uncle at my house when it all went down. It all started at 3 a.m. Tuesday morning. So of course I was a sleep. Your exactly right but this family was involved in a lot of drug activty I mean yesterday and was walking my dog police pulled a lot of things like money, things that involved drugs, and etc. Like I had said this is a Halfway House the number of cars, taxis, and people that came in and out of that house is crazy. Also whats funny is the man how owns this house because the people did RENT this home from this man. The man was just so quick to let that place go that the first he got it. Now he endangered the whole street with this. I mean my neighborhood was a very quiet place to live until after this all happened when this family moved in which was about a year ago in the summertime. So this has been going for a while now. Everyone has said the boys are most likely died or theres some ransom to pay for this family I do pray the boys are safe and also safely returned.

First of all, the mere fact that the home invaders entered the home, tied up the residents and were there from 3am to 11am is fishy. To be in the home for 8hours -- perhaps they knew the layout, the activities of the people who lived there as far as their comings and goings. I hope these teenage boys will be ok and the perpetrators caught and prosecuted to the fullest of the law.

First, let's pray for the safe return of the boys then we can start talking about what "we" think happened and "why".

For the postings that state the house was a drug house and there was a lot of traffic coming/going, why didn't you and your neighbors report this to the local police department? If you are going to point fingers, let's start with those of us who did nothing to stop the drug traffic before it reached this point!

Again, let's pray for the safe return of the boys.

I can't believe that you are in high school and as illiterate as you are. Almost none of what you wrote makes any sense. Please exit MySpace and start studying! I pray for the 2 boys and I pray that you get to work on your studies.

I agree with you. I mean seriously why would someone stay in there for that long. The people that were there either know these people and want something or had drug money. The drug problems have gotten worse over the years you would think Shelia Dixon would figure this out which I think she has but also Martin O'Malley left her in a mess with the city. I'm not gonna lie to you but it was never this bad before its crazy. I mean I really can't wait for my parents and maybe myself moving out of Baltimore. I really don't want to leave my parents because they both are teachers and when I leave for college I really don't want to worry if I'm going to get a phone call saying somethings happened to my family. Especially, since this did happen 4 houses away from mine. The police and Shelia Dixon need to clean up Baltimore and Catonsville streets. I mean Catonsville was in some home magazine to be one of the most safest or something I really don't remember but if you want to keep that rep then clean up the drugs.

We had reported them to the police. The police are always on my street looking at that house. Though cops don't do anything but sit and wait. Well I guess they waited too long.

Chillin inside for 8 hours? The facts are off, or it really begins to sound like a set-up staged to look like a kidnapping.

I have recently relocated to Maryland. I am not familiar with the location however after hearing this story last night I cannot get it off of my mind. No matter what the age or the family life of these youths they need to be found unharmed. Let's pray that happens.
