Can you say 10 good things about Danville?

1. There are still several nice parks in or near Danville.
2. Danville is rich in history.
3. No matter how far people scatter from Danville they seem to always remember it.
4. Danville does have a run around bus for people who do not have transporation.
5. There are several things to get involved in. And have a goodtime.
6. Several businesses have lasted more than 15 years in Danville.
7. The lake is very pretty.
8. Danville has not had a natural disaster in several years.
9. Danville does have potential to grow.
10. There are lost of great memories in Danville.

Can't say anything good about Danville...

1. driving down the street is like going for a ride on a bumpy country road.
2. good jobs are about as easy to find as a needle in a haystack.
3. don't have to worry about a run on the banks, no one has any money
4. houses are a dime a dozen, except people can't afford them.
5. good place for a bankruptcy attorney to take up shop.
6. your closer to the landfill than most towns in a 50 mile radius.
7. police know most residents on a first name basis
8. no trouble deciding which grocery store to shop at, only 1 major store, county market
9. schools do an excellent job on educating students about gangs and violence, most kids belong to one.
10. located near the danville correctional facility so people can move here to visit family frequently

Take a look at E.St.Louis or Madison IL....makes Danville look like Highland Park (IL).

10. The town itself is not in Indiana.
9. Driving on I-74 and not having to go through it.
8. Easy to pick up women.
7. Pretty nice arena though nobody really runs it well.
6. Being downtown or really anywhere around town and saying
"god I'm glad I don't live here."
5. Mayor is (from what I hear) for same sex marriage. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
4. If you like taxes you'll love Danville.
3. You can still smoke in the bars (you really can.)
2. Comparing what London may have looked like after being bombed in WWII.

I tryed but then I looked out my window, stepped out on my porch, drove down my road and thought about how many times I've had to call 911 in the last Month for 50 or so people in the street, yard...EVERYWHERE fighting playing music so loud that stuff falls off my shelves and mess of other things...SO NO I can't say anything good about Danville or it's Mayor anymore!!!!!

1. It's where I choose to live.

2. Contrary to popular belief, there ARE decent jobs here. You have to willing to look and to work.

3. I can live comfortabley 100% debt free. No morgtage, rent, etc. Anyone with a job can own their own home

4. We are within minutes of great county and state parks.

5. Danville Light Opera, Red Mask theater, Arts in the park.

6. No traffic on roads that are no worse than anywhere else.

7. Convenient to bigger cities.

8. Crime is overall no worse than average for any city.

9. For every brainless internet poster and criminal, there are 100s of good decent people.

10. And the best thing about living in Danville - You can move to Westville, center of the known universe...

I Lived here most of my life, huh can't find a decent job. The job I do have relys on Tips huess what i'm always broke people do not tip in Danville. Roads are all shot. If you want to get anywhere quick dont even try chances are you will have to find a way around a train. Mayor is a horses ass who sells drugs out of his yard on perrysville ave. No area of town is safe no more.. The low income people are the ones getting the shaft how you gonna live in fair oaks and drive a 100,000 dollar car? parks grrrrrr yeah right we have douglas park oh yeah cant go there skater punks done took over and hit my 8 year old in the head with a skateboard and cracked his skull, and guess what the police did, told the 15 yr old who hit not to do it again huh if i could move i would. shall i go on
