Never fails-every time I go to Woodinville I am "wowed" by what is going on with the amount of tasting rooms opening up for wineries east of the mountains. It has been long awaited for as there are now more than 30 grape varietals grown in the state with 16,000 acres planted of red varietals alone.
Hats off to the Washington Wine Commission for getting the word out on the caliber of what Washington wines have to offer. I visited the new tasting room for "Dusted Valley" recently that opened July of this year in Woodinville. Very impressed by the staff and the quaintness-not to mention the wines. They don't have a bad one in the bunch. |
