The Town of Falmouth had no way of knowing the commercial wind turbines were a bad deal. The Massachusetts Technology Collaborative aka the Mass CEC only provided positive reports to site the wind turbines in Falmouth.

In fact one report gives the exact streets that the noise (infra sound / low frequency ) actually did happen.

The MTC never told the Town of Falmouth the turbines had been fought against in many off Cape Towns around the New Bedford Area .In fact the residential abutters took the wind turbine projct to court over setback issues in Fairhaven.

The turbines built in 2004 are also gear box driven turbine with major catastrophic operation and manenance issues at 3 to 5 years of operation and then again in another 3 to 5 years .

The MTC failed to even sell the turbines at an auction ! Falmouth was the last hope to get the politically embarrassing turbines off their books .

Falmouth got the Trojan Horse. The semi quasi state agency should be held accountable to the taxpayers of Falmouth

A , The smoking gun of noise reports done for and by the semi quasi state agency section 6.1 page 38 of report designates the 99 homes by streets that have " potential visual and noise impacts". The ambiguous report left local politicians or home owners to believe trees, rolling hills and rte 28 would stop the noise.

B. This is the wind turbine sale through multiple parties and one million dollar renewable energy credit contract summary. This along with a partial history of the aged turbines. The turbines had also been scheduled and stopped in Fairhaven over setback issues to residential homes and never sold at an auction.
