Working people in general, you better wake up and vote Charlie Dent out of office. He did not vote for the extention of unemployment benifits, but he took his increase in salary. His Republican beliefs are "let the rich get richer and let the poor get poorer" and no middle class.

It's BENEFITS... He has NOT taken the increase in pay, because they can only vote for an increase in the next session, not the current. So, if your saying Charlie voted to increase the salary of the representative for the 15th district next term, then, Yes.
Otherwise, if Callahan wins, he gets the increase.
As far as extending unemployment benefits past the current two year period....

Nope - you try to rationalize it all you want. The fact is - that NO jobs were moved "out of the country". that is a liberal talking point with no basis in fact.

How far removed from reality are you? Turn off Fox and go talk to people who cannot find job because their company moved overseas.

Why did the company move overseas?
Cheaper labor?
Cheaper raw materials?

If we don't stay competitive, we'll loose a lot more.

Before you say the higher wages here aren't a factor... Remember, people are not willing to pay 20%-50% more for something because it's made here.
TOYOTA, MAZDA, HUNDAI, NISSAN..... etc, etc, etc.

I am partially laid off from a commercial Interiors company because everyone is using the $10 an hour illegals to hang sheetrock for them now.
Time to send em all packin, the two headed one party monopoly on government, the borders need to be zipped tight and the lawbreakers here illegally get the boot and go apply for residence in the proper manner. The politicians are ALL self serving, don't rely on the propaganda for your opinion, look around you. Vote for anyone who has no ties to the big corporate party, the two wings of this one party are the Democrats and the Republicans. Lets make REAL change!

I think he has done a good job in Bethlehem. I'm tired of Dent just doing as he is told by his republican bosses.

Yeah, Dent works hard for HIS people, but unless you are a big business who invests in his campaign, you are not "his people"

He's taking 58,000 instead of 174,000 and has said he will not take a pension. Time for some real "change"
