Was PennDOT surprised that the repairs were completed so quickly ? Even so, that was scheduled and predictable. The removal of the markings should have been coordinated better - we have had a couple of warmer days recently.

When I drove down that street, I was confused. i was in the right lane and it was telling me right turn only and I wanted to go straight down fullerton ave. I am from the area and don't travel that road very often, and the last time id did travel down that road before the the accident that messed up the bridge, you were able to stay in the right lane and go straight. I am glad it will be changed to the way it was.

thank you! they started the road work and then.......well exactly. still waiting. the lines change pattern like 4 times without the road markings indicating. when it rains it's near impossible to see any of the road markings at all. it's like driving in thailand for that stretch, it's dang near a free for all.

The current lane restrictions keep people from driving like idiots. When there are two lanes, the morons drive like it's a competition to get to 22, never mind the speed limit.

From your ISP's location, seems you're a PennDON'T employee, right ? Figures - rather than fix either the road problem or the management problem, you'd rather insult the messenger who brings the bad news ! How long 'til YOU retire ??

I don't understand this.

The right hand lane on southbound Fullerton Avenue still has "Right Turn Only" pavement markings, "Right Turn Only" signs, and after the intersection (where the right lane might go) is marked "KEEP OFF". So, WHY IS ANYONE CONTINUING STRAIGHT in the right lane?

Until PennDOT changes things, follow the markings and signs, you idiots!

Yea, I agree. Jonelle Gill of Catasauqua is an idiot (as well as many other drivers in that area).

The right hand lane is NOT open to thru traffic yet. All the signs and markings make that very clear.

That area's construction has a lot to do with the new shopping center being built behind The Downs. Also, they are doing some sewer work at the Lloyd Street intersection at night. But, I do agree that they need to repaint the lanes in the construction; they are hard to see. Now that the weather is getting warmer, the opportunity to pave that section will soon come to be.

West End...
What is wrong with you? You must have had to wait too long in line to get a new driver license or something to have that much Penndot hate. Lighten up.

Airport road definitely needs repainted, people are all over the place and I try to avoid that portion of road when and where possible when making deliveries/pickups. PENNDOT, please fix that, or i'm gonna go out there with an orange hoodie, a spray can, and fix it myself before someone wrecks into my truck. Our vehicles do NOT need any more fender-tenderizing...thanks.
