City Council says no to asset votes being placed on ballot
On Tuesday night, Allentown City Council held a special meeting with just one purpose: to consider and vote on a proposed Bill 82 that would change the city's home rule charter so voters would determine if any city-owned assets worth more than $10 million should be sold, leased or transferred.

Council knew it would be on the May ballot, it is the format they wanted to beat-and they did. The Bill will go the voters in May if approved then back to the voters in Nov if approved then Charter change, too late for the current issue.
Council, for all intent and purpose have approved what the Mayor wants to do and this insures there is sufficient time to complete all action items before any possible Charter change.

What is the rabbit talking about, does gerry like sand when he is fudge packing with his blond partner. I am wondering why all the past mayors are off the walls. Is this because most of the pictures are of men with integrity, honor and the publics best intrest in mind.
