"When the underemployed and the discouraged are added to the numbers, the unemployment rate rises to 16.6%. The Bureau of Labor Statistics, a unit of the Labor Department, began tracking this alternative measure — known as the U-6 for its department classification — in 1995 after economists lobbied for a method comparable to the way Japan, Canada and Western Europe count their unemployed."

Do YOU honestly think the numbers that tossed out there are legit?

no man is perfect. but misrepresenting Gods word is an unforgivable sin from my memories.

do u think republicans are like Christ?

or do they compromise it?

I compromise it sometimes... in the sense of drinking and sex.

God knows it.

You cannot escape the fact that even when you use U-6 unemployment charts... the numbers have been dropping and are far from the 17.1% high in 2009.

When you can show us U-6 numbers that are above 17.1%, then you can spread your doom and gloom... hate Obama rants.

Until then you can continue looking for conspiracies & ways to root for US economic failure so you can try to blame Obama for it all.

That's the problem.... their God allows hypocrisy because Republicans are the only people who think they can "establish religion" and legislate in the name of God in the USA.

I think Christianity is good but I don't need these religious hypocrites telling me how I should believe in God.

Christians are the first to show their demons when it comes to other religions trying to express their freedom of religion in the USA... i.e. Muslims.

Stop trying to say that I totally blame BO for all the woes that have befallen this country. YOU know better than that, for the love of Pete already. Give me a break, I see all the colors of the spectrum, not just in black and white.

spreading Gods message and love to non believers is what a Christian should be doing.

not compromising Gods word with corporate propoganda.

already there are tons of people who dont want to hear Gods word because of the vile vibes they get from right wingers

what do u have to say to them?

Christianity Islam and Judaism are all abrahamic. descended from Abraham

Muslims recognize Christ as a prophet. but not the main prophet

Jews dont even recognize Christ right?

so inherently why is there all this fighting?

The Republican party has demonstrated that their use of God & religion is nothing more than a front to fool their constituents into voting for them.

It's no different than Democrats telling the poor what they want to hear to collect votes.

God and politics is like oil and water.

The Christians here on Topix seem to be your fundamentalist variety and hold onto century old wars with other Religions i.e. Muslims and seem to support outdated ideologies such as the Christian Crusades or the rationalization of their hate on non-Christian religions.

You see it all the time.

but they recognize Christ more than Jews do

anyways. human stuff. political stuff

Christians and Muslims never fought when Mongols were in charge. interesting stuff to chew on.

but anyways. u need to support more missions and less corporate propogandists before talking about God publicly. u only make Mon Christians not want to be one if u keep this up.

The muslims stole it from the jews and christians. Mohammed wanted a religion to follower and a diety to believe in, he originally wanted to follow the christian God, but changed his mind because he only wanted to worship one God, because he thought the christians worshipped three seperate Gods instead of 3 in 1 Gods. The Jews were Gods chosen people too, that is why they also believe in God.
Jews of the bible are not the Jews of today.
Ashkenazi Jews were a late addition started in 1000ad. they were not around at the time of the Bible. ashkenazis are not Gods chosen people.
anyways. all three religions recognize Abraham and the twelve tribes of Israel eventially joined other countries. their descendants are the true Jews. an ORIGINAL 12 tribes. why doesnt ur pastor honor the original Jews and only the post Bible Jews?
well anyways. good luck spreading Gods word of love online.

Daily Horoscope for May 20

Cancer

Your mind is working well, so give it plenty of exercise. You could get involved in an intellectual discussion that forces you to think things through for yourself, or you might have to do some serious thinking about a forthcoming travel plan. If you're often wary of saying what you think you'll feel much braver about speaking up today, which is good news if you want to fight your corner or express your point of view.
