Please stop all this nonsense.

The Blue Monkey has its problems just like any other establishment that serves alcohol. Keep in mind, the youth, 21-35, needs a place to go and at least they do not have to go into Allentown and hang out at some of those bars. Trinkle's was just closed and although there were problems there some poeple thought it was someplace they like to frequent. Differnt strokes for different folks. The Blue monkey is also a restaurant and believe me we need one in the area that is at least not Italian. There are so many Italian restaurants in the area, it is amazing people don't get tired of Italian food.

You have to be drunk to call your place a restaurant

You just don't have a clue. My life is one of adulthood, not extended and booze influenced narcissism. Children need a parent who spends time with them, not good old boys who booze it up at some sports bar a couple times a week while mom raises the kids.

come on...its a bar where college kids and those who wish they were college kids go to get trashed. the 40 something wannabees go to run around and the young kids do what they do...get sloshed up. they have a restaurant for the tea totaller crowd and to look upstanding to the community. how many people do u think are watching sports at 12mid-2am??? SAT and Sun afternoon yes, monday night football yes...playoffs yes but for the most part a sports bar is nothing more than a high class watering hole with high priced food and high priced drinks.
you can fool some of the people some of the time but you cant fool all of the people all of the time.
some of you people have the mentality of a chicken wing.
what exactly do you think most bars (outside of your private clubs) consist of? and as far as the pricing is concerned, venture a little more into the world OUTSIDE of catasauqua...you will be in for a rude awakening.

it is far from the job of a neighbor to "intervene" with drunks attempting to drive. the responsibility lies in the hands of the establishment serving them. check your state laws.
you are correct, however, sometimes it is extremely hard to judge how intoxicated patrons are, especially if you have never seen them before. also, if you suspect that a patron is that intoxicated and if the bartender or bouncer has offered to (or already has) call(ed) a cab but the person leaves anyway, the bar is no longer liable. thats where an observer, such as yourself, comes in handy. just think, that person could be the idiot that creams one of your kids and kills them...easily prevented by a phone call.
