Questions that should be raised, such as the following: 1 What should happen to politicians that promoted laws that are unconstitutional? 2. Why did Pawlowski start condemnation, demolition and contracting prior to having long term financing in place? Allentown's bankruptcy, if it happens, will be due to the incompetancy of its leaders...not "outer municipalities" lawsuits. Note that Allentown's plan was to steal businesses from "outer municipalities" by subsidizing construction financing so it is not really accurate to think that Pawlowsk's plan would help "outer Municipalities."

Allentown is the largest city in the region. Billions of dollars go out of Allentown the form of earned income every year to "other municipalities". We are the third largest city in Penn., with a strong urban core of Bethlehem, and also Easton. If Allentown continues to decline, it will negatively effect the surrounding areas. The NIZ will in FACT return every penny to the municipalities who have citizens who work in this zone. Also the NIZ provides other financial benefits for outside municipalities. Any other profits on developement withing this zone will be shared in a generous dollar a square foot tax that will go back to these outside municipalities. This is more then fair and we will do as much as we can craft a fair negotiation that will eliminate any concerns. Remember when Allentown does good the entire region does good. This project will be fine and it is guaranteed to be beneficial to everyone within the zone. This is fact. All issues have been addressed esp. about the earned income within the NIZ. What we are witnessing is Ed Pawlowski taking on this self appointed responsibility or revitalizing the biggest economic generator of dollars in this region. The NIZ eliminates the biggest employers in the area including employers such as PPL, L.C. courthouse, city department offices, and the Allentown School District. These projects are being built to attract business to the Lehigh Valley and Allentown, it's largest generator in the region. This is a once in the lifetime opportunity that the mayor has took on that is going to attract businesses from out of state and make Allentown and the surrounding areas in this region a revitalized area that will draw much needed economic possibilities. The Allentown Arena is the biggest project in the NIZ but it also already has numerous projects lined up in the revitalization process of our great mayor. This is a total all-out attempt lead by Ed Pawlowski to take Allentown, being a city that needs to make changes in order to not regress, and take these huge steps and revitalize our city and put us in line with other regions we compete with. When Allentown does good..........
