I was wondering the same thing! He could be out on parole before the girl turns 18!

They should bring back public stonings for these type of people. Let the girl and her family stone him to death.

This has got to be the most disturbing news report that I have ever read. I just can't wrap my brain around this creatures rationalization and explanation for his actions. It makes me ill just reading it.

This child is not ruined, and I hope she does not read that statement. I pray that this child gets quality treatment for what happened to her, but in no way should anyone say she is ruined. I hope she is successful in her life, and I hope she has the strength to help someone else some day. She should not be ashamed either.

First of all, I find it heinous that he was even allowed to plea-deal. And I have to believe if he does even 5 of those 10-40 years, that will be a surprise; more than likely he'll be let out for "good behavior" at some point and more than likely he'll immediately go out and find other victims. While registering someone as a sex offender is better than nothing, unless that person is under 24/7 visual surveillance, they're still free to hurt other children. And his "she was responsible" speil is SO typical of child predators; "they wanted it, they made me do it," etc. Anyhow - there ARE some very "forward" young girls but even if she did "come on" to him, he is 32 and more than old enough to know better. Too, it says he raped her repeatedly - so she kept "coming on to him," over and over? I can't say in a public forum what should be done to this guy; but if it were MY child he'd violated, guaranteed he'd have to be looking over his shoulder for the rest of his miserable life.

How did this pervert get access to the 10 year old in the first place. A child that age should be supervised all the time and I think the parents were negligent in letting this thing happen. When my kids were small they were seldom out of our sight for more than 5 minutes. In today's world parents need to be vigilant because there are so many perverts roaming the streets. Losers that need to prey on children because they are unable to attract adults to have relationship with or have twisted ideas of what a relationship should be. Most of the time it is just a control thing.

Maybe the did the plea deal to spare the child of testifying?

Maybe the girl watches too much TV, or is otherwise "advanced", but she is still ten years old.

Sex offenders often serve the max, so I expect this guy will be in jail until his own genitals wither and fall off.

Then, he'll have to register for ten years.

Her life is changed forever and if she is not gotten good help she will have a hard time with life. and unless you have lived through something like this you will never understand the damage he has done to her.....her life will be tough and very hard .....but she will be able to make it with help and support from family and professionals.

That guy isn't worth the space he takes up. Prison will take care of him, even in prison there is a heirarchy among prisoners and he will be so far at the bottom he won't see daylight. The girl and other victims of his, (for i'm sure she wasn't the first) need counseling. And I hope the other victims speak up and help keep this scumbag locked away until prison justice is served. He thinks was a victim HA just wait ...even prisoners look down up at prediators.

I figured this was his own child. His daughter went to school with mine. He was always creepy. He should be ashamed of himself and I hope he does the 40 years. And what a good role model he is for his three year old son, NOT!
