More and more tax money every year. I know it will never stop but will it every slow down. You would think that Catasauqua School District was Emmaus or Parkland the way they spend their money.

There was a need for it! Schools need to be renovated every so often. Northampton School District did the high school so why can't Catty do the same.

Five of the nine board members wanted the new school. Did you attend the meetings on the high school. There were more people at the 5 or 6 meetings in favor of the school.

By the way, Sheckler was built in 1971. 39 years with the same heating and cooling system. As apart of the current renovations, Sheckler finally is getting something that was suppose to last 20-25 years maybe.

It's easy to throw money around when you can have all you want just by taking it.

Obviously, you have no clue about the building of the high school. And you repeat what many others say about school taxes. The point is a district needs to have buildings and in some disricts many of them. Whatever you build costs in the tens of millions. So no one is "throwing money" around here. That is what a building costs just as a house cost in the tens of thousands or hundred thousands. District struggle every year with budget that are have fixed costs and then you add on a new building, a new roof, a heating system, etc. Think before you write comments as you just did.

Obviously, you have know all about how ue teachers rip off taxpayers. You repeat what many others say about school taxes and being a teacher, I know first hand how the school boards steal from you. That's just too bad. The point is a district needs to fill our pockets with as much money as we possible CAN.Rather than fix a five year old building we build new ones. SO WHAT?
I don't want to work in a five year old building.Whatever we build costs in the tens of millions but WHO CARES? It's not OUR money, we just take more from you.........and WHAT are you going to do about it? NOTHING! Districts struggle every year thinking of more and more way and reasons to raise your taxes.
Now get the f uck OVER it, your taxes are going UP,up and away.
What are you gonna do? Stop paying the taxes and you'll be living in a cardboard box in a k-mart parking lot. Go FUCK yourself.
I knew this already.
