Shark at the inlet between long beach and holding beach

Yesterday while walking down at the end of beach road specifically where the channel comes around the cannel two fisherman meeting mullet for bait witnessed a 6ft Hammer head shark swimming alongside of the shoreline.
The shark did not bother anyone but sure scared all of the beach goers who walk and swim along the inlet at the end of the beach. Another family who saw it the shark said it was huge.
Maybe this post should be a warning to everyone to be on the lookout for the shark. Better safe them sorry!

Any time you step into the ocean, you are in the shark's kitchen and home. I am amazed by the number of people who think it's rare to see a shark at OKI. Take a walk on Ocean Crest Pier and have a seat on one of the comfortable benches. You'll be shocked by how close sharks actually come to the shore. It's just a part of nature.

Lived here at HB my whole life...and just the other day saw one a few feet from me . I think people just find that it's info. worth sharing with others. Especially since there seems to be more than usual. But from what I hear, it's a good thing, the increase in sharks means our lovely food chain within our waters should be balanced, to say it in simple terms.
