If golf carts could be allowed with a few restrictions, for example; seat belts, mirrors and nothing extreme like the street legal ones are. Then it would be great and my family and I would travel around more often and that means spend more money at the store on Middleton and other places which would help the islands economy.
I want the restrictions to be a minimal for the golf carts like they are in South Carolina.

One of the reasons I chose North Myrtle Beach instead of one of the North Carolina Beaches are the regulations regarding golf cart usage. Being able to use a golf cart on public roadways with reasonable restrictions is one of the best perks of living at Myrtle Beach. I am a North Carolina native and would have liked to have the option of choosing one of the NC beaches to buy my beach home. However, the privilige of using a golf cart on the public roadways is just too valuable of a benefit.

I agree with the other homeowner- the island is beautiful and I have enjoyed the many weeks I have spent there however when driving over to beach it would be so much easier to jump in the golf cart then loading up the car (HOT CAR). Every other place we have owned a place golf carts are allowed. I vote yes !!!
