Lay with dogs and you will get fleas. If you have gang bangers in your house then of course you should expect a visit from the long arm of the law at some point. Problem is the visits are not often enough. I say sweep away...all the way to the border. THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE OFFICER BUSTIN YOUR ASSES DAILY TO SOLVE THE PROBLEMS YOU DIDNT CREATE. If you think that police have easy jobs visit www.odmp.org for a different perspective.

LULAC and the other nutjobs are at it again
quote:accuses the county joint gang task force and deputies of using excessive force, child endangerment and elder abuse during Operation Disrupt in June.end quote full article: http://www.thecalifornian.com/article/2009122...

Their Grandson is charged with attempted murder
the house in question was a known place
for the grandson to be.
I am 100% behind the police on this one, they had to secure the house, even a 80 year old can pull the tricker endangering everyone.
Communities WANT Gangsters off the street, I want my family safe, if that means some Gangbanger/murder's family is inconvinienced, so be it, THAT is NO reason for LULAC to go all fanatical, who pays them anyway? anyone know?
or are all of them just more leaches
Peace is for all people, regardless of color or race, the police is the one to get it done, the public can help with leads, remember, if the shoe fit's etc.
THANK you Officers, I am in full support

If someone will take the time to look at the normal operations of any gang task force, they will find that every operation is basically the same. Smoke bombs, loud noise, many participants, everyone shouting. This is to surprise the targets and make the take down or arrest easier on everyone. If a target does not happend to be where reported to be, and innocent parties are unfortunately subjected to all this turmoil, appologies are always in order. Not a change in operation. Live with it.

From what I have read, the task force hit several targets in Salinas that evening, in addition to Castroville. I'm still waiting for the complaints from the other locations. Are you? I have a great idea! Let's let the residents of Castroville manage their town and not outside groups looking for a headline.

Well, well, well. More great work last night in Salinas by a Gang Task Force. About 25 or 30 gang bangers taken off of the street. How many to go? Did you see on the news that an "ordinary" man and woman were escorted out of a house, and then a handcuffed gang member? What was the couple doing with a known gang member in their home? Wake up, folks!Sharpen your pencils, LULAC!

how many more? if they know of 5000, then they may not know of thousands more
5000 minus 90 = 4910
they will scatter like rats, then re-group
keeping up the sweeps is a must at this point

I have had the priviledge of getting the inside scoop on the operation called "Ceasefire." If 2/3s of you will get your heads out of your you no whats, look at the headlines in the Californian today.(5-6-2010) Here are some figures you should know, if you can read. Last year at this time there were about 23 killings. There have been 2 this year. Sorry for the bad news.

What's the phrase? "All good things must end?" Operation Cease Fire is funded by a grant which will run out at the end of 2010. First question, why is not a successful program permanently funded by we citizens through taxes? Second, since Cease Fire, to my knowledge, is the most effective of the many programs to get bangers out of gangs, why isn't the funding for less effective programs re-routed into the Cease Fire coffers? Don't give me a comeback that the police should just do their job. When they do, they are beseiged with complaints and lawsuits that money is spent on defending themselves. The police have a violent job and are trained to do just that. Teaching youngsters at an early age about self-responsibility and such, is a job for social psychologists or others. Whoops! Maybe the parents shoud get involved here! Gee, I wonder if this is a new idea for the parents!!!
