California Double Murder Suspect Arrested in New Orleans by U.S. Marshals Task Force
On the morning of April 8, 2008, members of the U.S. Marshals Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force (CSFTF) arrested Terrance Brewer at the home of an acquaintance in the 2600 block of Willow Street. He was wanted in connection with a double homicide that occurred on March 16, 2008, in Concordia, California. Brewer, 19, was booked into the Orleans Parish Prison and is waiting extradition to California.
Concordia Police Department officials allege that Brewer shot and killed two individuals during a drug deal gone bad. They developed information that Brewer had left California and came to New Orleans to flee prosecution. They requested the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Task Force here in New Orleans in locating the fugitive. Investigative leads developed by local investigators led to the location and eventual arrest of Brewer. This is the third homicide suspect arrested by U.S. Marshals this week that the Crescent Star Fugitive Task Force had direct involvement in. Edward Augustine was arrested in Denver, Colorado, Eldrin George was arrested in Duluth, Georgia (both on New Orleans Police Department warrants), and Brewer was arrested today.

Mentally-gifted New Orleans PR office. There is no "Concordia," CA. It's CONCORD. No wonder people don't trust the news media anymore - they're being misinformed directly at the source. Is it possible there IS a Concordia that had the same crime, the same night as in Concord?
